Mid-30s guy with an addiction for fan fiction presently, and a slew of unfinished writing in my file cabinet and computer that I never seem to manage to complete full stories. Plots and bits and pieces, sure, but start-to-finish stories still elude me.
Aside from that I'm always over-thinking things, have a science background but love my fiction books... and I guess I'm a twi-guy being here as much as I am lately :S (I own the series and The Host as well). Also a fan of David Eddings and Clive Cussler.
Just starting an Education degree that'll eventually send me out to Middle and Secondary schools to teach math and science (mostly biology, probably).
Oh and my friends just gave me an Edward doll from the Barbie range (he sparkles! lol they didn't realise it at the time either) My Twi-diction is kind of a running joke for them, but their nice enough about it :)

Summary: The new treaty with the Quileutes forces Leia and Adam to make some tough decisions about their relationship. Meanwhile Edward and Bella begin their new life as husband and wife. When the honeymoon ends on a startling note, how will the Cullens deal with the unexpected situation? How will it affect the new, fragile peace with the Quileutes? And more importantly, what happens when the Volturi bring the entire guard to Forks to address a broken law?
This story is the fourth in the Baby Sister Series, an AU parallel of the Twilight Series as seen from through the 'eyes' of Leia Cullen, the youngest member of the Cullen family. Mostly canon couples, but as it is Jacob/OC, there will be major differences in the dynamic of some relationships. And yes, Renesmee will be a part of this story.

whew well things got pretty darn tense there, but thankfully the family's all on-side now... just a couple dozen more obstacles to worry about, like the rest of the pack, the Volturi, and oh yeah, Bella surviving the pregnancy somehow or other :)
Hmm.. just occurred to me that Leia's sight-sharing ability could have some interesting overlaps with the baby ;) Author's Response: Hehehe...yeah, tense. But I really couldn't stand to have them fighting for long. Bella needs a lot of support through her pregnancy. Not sure yet if Leia's sight sharing will have any overlaps with Nessie. It's something I'll have to ponder. Thank you for being such an awesome reader, Daylen. :)

Glad to see Edward and Leia back on track :)
I'm not too fussed about any delay on this story, because I've been following the other anyways hehe
A story-muse being a little "quiet" is probably why many authors run multiple stories, it's certainly a big part why I've not been able to get my own writing completed to my own satisfaction, too many ideas that don't fit together in the same tale :S
I just look forward to reading it all :)
Author's Response: Thanks, Daylen. And yeah, my muse for this story is rather quiet, but I think she's just too busy with Into the Fire to focus on Leia and Adam at the moment. LOL. I've always had problems with too many ideas running around in my head. I'm also trying to focus on some original stuff at the moment, so I'm pulled in so many directions. :)

wow so much stuff happening this chapter - I liked Adam's "game" of staying or going lol (should I stay or should I go? ;)
Tanya's initial reaction was sort of expected given her hurt feelings over Edward's choices, but it seems she's "come good" as it were.
Looking forward to Adam finding out about Italy - though only because I'm hoping to see Adam reassure Leia that he still loves her and understands as much as he possibly could.

Summary: After Jasper’s attack on Bella during her birthday party, he leaves the Cullens and sets out to find a way to get his bloodlust problem under control. Meanwhile, the Cullens leave Forks. Bella is alone and vulnerable. When Victoria comes for her, Jasper is the only one she can reach for help.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Jasper and Bella find that there are consequences, even for acts of redemption.

“Just go ahead and get it over with, Victoria,” I heard Bella say with only the slightest hitch in her voice. “Edward is not coming, so you might as well go ahead and kill me now. He left me months ago. He is not going to be bothered in the least if you kill me.”
I was close enough to move in quickly. I needed to come up with a distraction to allow me to get in, grab Bella and get out.
I heard Vicki snort in disgust. “Well, if he won’t care if I kill you, then I will have to figure out another way for us to have a little fun. What do you think, Riley? Is there something we can do with this little whore of a human?”

Title: Chapter 7: Soul Contention
Nicely handled, Jasper :) Emmett's contributions were gold!
It's interesting that Alice & Jasper's "bond" appears to be weakening even if both don't quite understand it, I wonder if that's something that Marcus' ability would be able to see and interpret?
I'm liking that Jasper's learned not to keep Bella out of the loop, as it were.
Oh, and I know it's just a line used in many situations, but I couldn't help making the connection from Jasper's "As you wish..." and The Princess Bride :)
That was being said before the two realised their feelings for each other too. Author's Response: I had not thought about the Marcus angle, but yes, I believe he would. I am glad you picked up on The Princess Bride. I love that movie, and Jasper reminds me of Wesley.

“But the one I am most worried about is Ali Cat. Something is not right with her, Bee. I haven’t seen her bounce since we left Forks. I thought it was because she missed you, but now I am not so sure.”
I squinted my eyes at him in concern. “What do you mean . . . Alice is not bouncing?”

very impressed with Jasper! Hoping the Cullens (Edward especially) aren't too rough on the poor guy - I mean, he DID just save 'our girl, Bella'!! :) Author's Response: Well, he is the hero of this story, so he may have some more trials and tribulations yet. Nice to see Laurent actually taking to the Denali-Cullen diet, and even better that he's trying to be a buffer, however limited, for Bella.

Looks like there's a reunion with (most of) the Cullens next chapter? Should be pretty interesting, especially since I suspect Alice is Seeing some Bella/Jasper images that hurt a little bit and don't really make sense to her right now?

whoa - well Jasper's either going to stop in time for human Bella to get through, or she'll end up vamp'ed sooner than later.
I'm with Jasper on being wary of Laurent but still greatful/relieved for his timing and assistance :)
can't help but wonder though, Bella's had venom sucked out two times now, and her body's got to have some kind of reaction to that perhaps? Author's Response: I hope that you like how it all unfolds. Thanks so much for the review. Laurent will turn up again.

Title: Chapter 8: Hey, Soul Sister
hmm some interesting conversations there.
I think Alice already knows what's going to happen with Bella and Jasper - but is perhaps still struggling to find the outcome that doesn't end with anyone dead and gone.
I always felt particularly pissed at both Alice and Esme, in the original stories - one best friend and the supposed mother that abandoned Bella at a time when she would've most urgently needed either of them for support.
The family meeting with Laurent should be "fun" ;)
Oh, and I think Bella's going to figure out her feelings for Jasper before he does, and before he realises just what is happening to his own feelings for Alice vs Bella.
The future "best friends" dynamic will be very different.

I am so sorry that it has taken me so long to respond to your review and update the story. Real life has gotten in the way big time. First, my beloved dog died, then we had a flood of epic proportions in Middle Tennessee. I hope that you will forgive the delay and continue to read. Chapter 9 is with my beta now and should be posted by the end of the week.

It broke my heart to hear Alice so sad, but she had brought it on herself. She was facing the consequences of her siding with her brother and abandoning her best friend and sister.
My thoughts were interrupted when Bella let out an indignant snort that dripped with disbelief at Alice’s sincerity. I almost laughed, but managed to stop any sound from escaping.
So, my little spitfire is not going to forgive and forget so easily, I said, internally chuckling to myself, before I realized what I was thinking.

ahh poor Jasper - I don't envy him that decision even though I'd be leaning towards Bella anyways... Alice and Edward could still be a decent match for each other since she's the best at keeping him out of her thoughts without even having to work too much at it ;)
