I'm not sure id call that just a filler chapter since there's obviously something happening with Charlie. Plus we're seeing more of Bella struggling to face her fears (which aren't really unreasonable for those of us with experience in trauma. We "want" to move on, but it takes longer for our... instinct? to catch up):)

Yes, there were definitely some important things going on. I'm very pleased you agree. Although it may seem like there wasn't much going on, I felt it was important. You have hit it exactly - Bella is frustrated because she knows her fears are irrational and she desperately wants to move on from everything, but it's just not happening fast enough! 

argh that was actually painful to read - the memories fading away and Edward eating himself up inside being forced to stay away.

It's a relief that Angela is there for Bella at least, her arrival showed impeccable timing ;)

The reunion's going to be very difficult for Edward when it finally does happen - having all those memories and not being able to really "use" them... I think it might help Bella in the long run that she doesn't have clear memories of him, though, it'll make it easier (just a little) to see him as a potential boyfriend than it might've otherwise been.

ahh I think aside from being happy that Edward's "trying" all I can say is "hehehehe" to his avoiding the truth :)

It was good to see Edward actually relaxing and having fun for a change there :)

ugh I knew it was coming but still didn't like reading it... though I'm guessing B&E like it even less! :S

Hopefully it's not too many chapters til they're back? I don't know if that makes the story too short that way?

Looking forward to seeing them reunite - and wondering how much "older Bella" recalls :)

I'd like to say that was a close call - but they havent' got the concert done or got past the timing of the nomads, so it's still a bit of a worry.

On a different note, looking forward to B&E enjoying some awkward attempts at connecting and couples-time hehe

It kind of felt wrong to chuckle at Leia's near-misses over the pillows/cushions and everyone's comments on trying to avoid it when it had already happened, sort of. :)

Next chapter looks like it's going to be a kicker - with the meeting and discussing both Bella and Adam's futures with the Cullens.

Leia's moments with Edward are always so cute, I'm not sure if it's entirely accurate given that they really have a lot of mutual support of each other, but I always get the strongest sense in these sorts of scenes how much Leia idolises/looks up to Edward.

Even at the same time as he looks to her, for her strength which he tends to perceive as being so much greater (rather than "different") to his.

hmm well first thing I'd say is if that Elder had requested the blood-signing from Bella, she probably would've passed out or at least had a rather visibly bad reaction herself... not that the Elder would've cared from the sound of it.

Really, if the Cullens have been in the area twice, and no one's gone missing or been bitten in either of those times, how is that not "proof enough" of their commitment at least. Ah well, sometimes road blocks can't be helped :P

I liked Bella & Leia's chat in the morning... though I think I've said before I like their whole dynamic, along with Edward & Leia.

I don't think the move to Alaska is necessarily going to go off without a hitch... the Pack might be forced to ask the Cullens for help... at least, that's currently a suspicion I've been toying with in my head.

Looking forward to seeing where we go next :)

It's good to see Adam settling in with Leia and the Cullens!

I can imagine there'll be a lot of stuttering and blushing when they finally broach the intimacy subject hehe :)
