Mid-30s guy with an addiction for fan fiction presently, and a slew of unfinished writing in my file cabinet and computer that I never seem to manage to complete full stories. Plots and bits and pieces, sure, but start-to-finish stories still elude me.
Aside from that I'm always over-thinking things, have a science background but love my fiction books... and I guess I'm a twi-guy being here as much as I am lately :S (I own the series and The Host as well). Also a fan of David Eddings and Clive Cussler.
Just starting an Education degree that'll eventually send me out to Middle and Secondary schools to teach math and science (mostly biology, probably).
Oh and my friends just gave me an Edward doll from the Barbie range (he sparkles! lol they didn't realise it at the time either) My Twi-diction is kind of a running joke for them, but their nice enough about it :)

well , well, Edward's "waking up" to his feelings... now I just hope Bella's getting onto the same page soon. I'm guessing the presence of the Denali's will push things along a bit too.
Oh, and Edward's probably lucky to still have his arm attached with the way Bella stopped on that run hehe :)

I had been wondering if taking Michael out of the picture would fix the memory damage, it would appear his ability worked similar to how we've seen Chelsea's & Jane's in most cases, requiring some kind of constant attention.
Finally, though, Jasper & Ember can have some happy times with the family :)

jasper would appear to be in for an interesting journey with Ember, though I'm still kind of bummed that it's cost us Alice (she's always been my favourite :S)

hmm so with the tangled web that Caius seems to have been weaving all this time, I wonder should we be sighing in relief that Ember and Jasper are "free" or maybe suspicious that they're tracking down the Cullens now... Ember's going to be more than a little pissed & devastated if Jasper and/or Daniel turn out to be playing her.

hmm as much as there's so much drama happening, I think Ember and Jasper are "practicing" to eventually add to that eight.
Although Emmett would probably claim Jasper has to start over? Now that I've typed it, it sounds in poor-form given the reasons, but I can still see them being able to get the humour out of it somewhat :) Author's Response: LOL I have thought about that. Not sure if I'm going to do it yet or not, like you said, the circumstances aren't the greatest.

whew - while i wasn't too worried about Ember being bumped off, I was a little concerned about her and Jasper being separated or her being badly hurt. Especially after the happy proposal that Jasper made (even though he doesn't consciouslly remember her just yet hehe) just can't beat love, it seems :)

Ember and Jasper got there eventually. I have to admit I was more than a little concerned a few times. Especially right around the time Jasper's memories were manipulated and Ember was captive.. I wasn't sure just how dark you'd go for the story. Happily, they've ended up together and stronger than ever :)
Summary: When faced with a betrayal that could tear them apart, Edward and Bella must put their faith in the healing power of love. WARNING: this story deals with rape and its aftermath.

I always worry most when a character finishes a chapter thinking/saying "What could possibly go wrong?" - that's usually the point that we really don't want to give it a chance to find out.
After all his protectiveness, it seems out of character for Edward to go without at least Alice present to "guard/comfort" Bella, even if she's been asking him nicely to go... it just doesn't "feel right" that he'd go with all the possible risks. Charlie's presence isn't a valid defense against Jake. Author's Response: lol, yeah, I couldn't resist adding in that last line.
Oh, I think maybe you misunderstood when you read the chapter. Edward certainly isn't leaving Bella with Charlie (he can't protect her). He is leaving her at his house with Alice, Rose, and Esme.

Bella's doing so well at working her way back to Edward completely - and he's really doing an amazing job of not pushing her. I'm kind of thinking that the control he had to learn in the early stages of their friendship/relationship, resisting the call of Bella's blood, has really proved its worth now. Though it'd always be nice to not have to need it quite like this.
I'm hoping it's not Leah or another of the wolfpack with Bella right now - Alice's vision seemed incomplete? Or perhaps Bella's focus on just trying to get through each moment/day is blurring her to Alice?
I can't imagine how the Pack would "remove" the wolf from Jacob - given it's genetic, and all... I suppose a special "herb" that happened to have a directed mutagenic property? Or perhaps a binding uber-alpha command to stop phasing? hmmm Author's Response: Yes, you're right she really is doing well. And I believe that's true that Edward's earlier control is helping him now. Although it's kind of sad because they just got over the hurdle of Edward wanting Bella's blood and now they have a different one to get over.
Hmm, interesting. Well, the way in which Alice has visions is rather complicated and we know from the books that she sees her kind more clearly than humans (ie. Bella). Anyway, you'll see in the next chapter what happens.
Yes, it does seem rather impossible. If you remember Alice and Jasper told Edward that Carlisle doesn't see how it could be possible. Hmm, more interesting ideas. Well, we shall see what happens later. Thanks for sharing your ideas--that is some very good thinking!

ahh they've both got so much healing still to do; but i think those moments like Edward's conversation with Charlie will help in the long run.
Edward's ability, being able to see into Jacob's mind and see the event played back, plus knowing with certainty how close he was to losing Bella permanently must be making things that much harder than just imagining :p
I can see Rose and Emmett playing larger roles in both Bella and Edward's lives. Author's Response: Yes, Edward is having a hard time now after seeing into Jacob's mind and then being so close to losing Bella, and he blames himself for what happened even more now. He also can't stand that Jacob didn't suffer more than he did before he died. You will see more of this in the next chapter from EPOV.
That's true as well. Even though everything that B & E have been through is horrible, good things come out of it as well, like bringing people closer. I'd like to try and emphasize that in this story. And all the family will be playing a bigger role in the story now.
