Mid-30s guy with an addiction for fan fiction presently, and a slew of unfinished writing in my file cabinet and computer that I never seem to manage to complete full stories. Plots and bits and pieces, sure, but start-to-finish stories still elude me.
Aside from that I'm always over-thinking things, have a science background but love my fiction books... and I guess I'm a twi-guy being here as much as I am lately :S (I own the series and The Host as well). Also a fan of David Eddings and Clive Cussler.
Just starting an Education degree that'll eventually send me out to Middle and Secondary schools to teach math and science (mostly biology, probably).
Oh and my friends just gave me an Edward doll from the Barbie range (he sparkles! lol they didn't realise it at the time either) My Twi-diction is kind of a running joke for them, but their nice enough about it :)

Summary: If you ask me to describe Quil in one word it'd be "Sexy-Quileute-Warrior-Man". Now I know, its not technically one word, so if your going to be picky, I guess I'd have to say "unattainable". I'm Claire: utterly average 16 year old, in love with Quil Ateara, a mystical sex god.
Excerpt from Those Chicken Breast Thingys:
I felt his warm arms encircle me, and although I was already sweltering in the heat, I didn't complain as he carried me bridal style to the water. The whole thing felt so much like a romance novel cover— stud werewolf and olive skinned damsel— that I imagined myself momentarily clad in a flowing gown of some sort, heaving my non-existent bosoms to his chest.
I got caught up in it all when the first splashes of cold water hit the small of my back. I shrunk away from it, wrapping my arms around Quils neck tightly and pulling myself up higher, pressing my cheek to his. His cheek was on fire, but it felt so natural on mine. I realized that I had never had so much of my bare skin touching his and I felt my own cheeks blush hot. I pulled my cheek away, scared that maybe he would be able to feel it, or somehow know with his werewolvy senses that I was more turned on then I had ever been in my entire life.

Summary: 
It's drawing close to a full decade since Edward Cullen made the greatest sacrifice of his life: the potentially eternal, reciprocal love he shared with Bella.
Something greater than nature seems to continuously draw them back towards each other and Edward's starting to realise that even forever isn't long enough to fight and flee the inevitible.

ahhh no not little Reuben!!
well I guess there's a plan for him in the story somehow... and perhaps this is the big bad thing that the Cullens wouldn't have been around for if they'd moved again to avoid Bella. IT would certainly account for Alice's vision that she'd be very badly broken the next time they overlapped :S
As for Leah and Jake... whatever it is, they're up to something huge that Bella would normally not allow anyone to do. Something house related? Maybe they're getting that library made up that Bella wanted in the spare room?
Summary: What would Twilight have been like if the roles were reversed?
Edward, Emmett and Jasper Swan are humans living in Forks with their dad, Charlie and they all work at the police station under their father.
Bella, Rosalie and Alice Cullen are vampires, sent to Forks by their vampire parents, Carlisle and Esme, as punishment.

interesting chapter... it's still so wierd to have the powers all switched around and mixed with new ones on top of it... plus there's obviously another plot buried in there with the need to pick up the three guys all at once, so I've been trying to figure out the larger secrets as well as the small ones hehe

Summary:
Alice Cullen has been having visions involving her brother, Edward, and his soul mate for the last five years and yet he refuses to believe her. Her last vision brings the Cullen's to Forks, Washington and Alice knows that the girl in her vision is there.
Bella Swan has been plagued with strange dreams and nightmares for the last five years, causing her to develop a small case of insomnia. She has grown tired of her friends and her boyfriend. She views her life as boring. Then the Cullen's arrive.

i've only just started catching up with this story. I was going to hold off making a comment until I got to the most recent chapter, but my current theory without 'peeking ahead' goes along the lines that the burning that Bella feels in her dreams/nightmares is the burning of the venom during a change - and the sudden combustion of the curtain and her own body heating up is somehow connected to the ability to tap Edward's memories.
All that heat had to go 'somewhere' and it's probably lucky she didn't fireball the couch hehe. Guess I'll keep reading and see how close (or far) I get :) Author's Response: Hi there! I'm glad you paused to review...Love the theory. You'll find out eventually if you're right, but it'll be a little while :D lol. I haven't written that yet...I'm hoping it comes out well :D

hahah I hope Edward REALLY regrets not telling Bella about the hypno sessions now... at least she might've been able to keep a fire extinguisher handy 'just in case' if she'd known... or maybe Alice could've subtly sorted something out?
sigh... secrets and half truths kill a lot of potential relationships and even long term existing ones :s
I hope 'a little while' isn't very long for chapter 18 :) Author's Response: Yes...We'll get a slight touch of the self-loathing Edward. However, I must warn you...I did promise not to allow him to be that guy anymore. So broody Edward's allowed, but he will not be self-hating Edward :D lol. I won't make it THAT difficult on him because you MUST remember that Bella's got her own secret that she hasn't revealed yet ;) lol.
Alice doesn't know a thing about the fire or the shield at this point. For some reason unknown reason to us (as of right now) she just can't see it. I promise you'll find out eventually as to why ;) lol.
You are right, secrets are bad for any relationship. However, think about how deep this connection between Bella and Edward must go :)
I hope to have the chapter done sooner rather than later. I just have a hectic writing class that I have to finish up this week :P

Summary: What if Bella hadn't moved her junior year with her father. Instead she moved with her mother to Florida. Upon visting her father before leaving for college she encounters two members of the Cullen Family. Alice's vision tells her that Bella would change their lives forever.

rofl I wonder how long it'll take Edward to get familiar with the concept of being careful with the woman he loves who's totally capable of tearing him apart in more ways than one ... aside from telekinetically disassembling him, there's all the memory-imagery she could use, then the emotional termoil she could him through - with and without empathic abilities.
Good thing that Bella generally doesn't act that way unless pushed to the extreme :)

Title: Chapter 17: Chapter 17 Within My Grasp
ahh Edward... so much anger and stubborness... I've always wondered how much of Edward is from his angsty 17yr old self and how much is because he's been bombarded/submerged in the minds of everyone within a 3 mile radius for a century. As much as you'd try not to listen to the words, the noise would still be there... and if I had a hundred years of tinnitus, I'd always be more than a little irritable too. Especially given I can't even sleep to "pretend" it's not there for a while.
Having said that, I hope he realises the difficulty everyone had with this decision soon. I'm guessing Bella will be a big part of getting the family off the hook. Author's Response: Yes, Bella will play a big part in easing Edward's anger. She'll also explain what would've happened if she hadn't done it.
Almost done with the upcoming chapter.
