Well I like that James eventually gave them something more useful to work with, even if they're still struggling for ideas.

It was good to see Bella stand up for herself, again, but also much more firmly amongst her colleagues and peers.

I did start laughing at Edward's "so why don't we" at the end though... I'm curious about the friend of the parents' I'm almost thinking it could be Aro or someone connected somehow, but that seems too much of a stretch lol

It's going to be tricky, but I can see Bella getting into a very complicated word-game with Aro now that he's revealed enough that he knows about her.

I'm not thinking that Reed is an idiot so much as I'm thinking he's a possible mole, or even a dupe for one - if the dim light thing isn't so much of an act, then it's entirely possible Aro has someone close to Reed that the agent doesn't realise he's a leak.

awww i think i was hoping that Bella would remain blissfully ignorant until the last moment... but I guess she didn't make Detective for no reason, so it might've been odd for her to not notice.

Although... she may still have just enough self-doubt on that front to be questioning her conclusion until the last moment.... can't wait to find out :)

hmm haven't seen that strategy before really... the old "hey, you really should stop cutting because it's only making things worse for your vampire boyfriend who already wants to chow-down on your blood" :)

eh I don't expect Charlie to be angry per se, maybe a bit disappointed since it makes things more complicated for a moment... can't wait to hear what Emmett says about Bella's actions though, and at least Bella wasn't punching a werewolf/shapeshifter hehehe

Good to see Bella raise the question of what a "mate" is in vampire terms, looking forward to Edward's explaination hehe
I think Alice having the talk with Bella about her cutting was perfect really, even with the close call. it was a dramatic change to see perky Alice really show her vamp side and bring the point home to Bella that its time to find the will & way to stop.

ohh boy... Alice is going to be in trouble, I think?

I just hope Edward doesn't get too far in his own "idea" of how Bella should live her life, she's had enough types of rejection to deal with already.

aww what a place to break! Now I'm left wondering if Sarelle just jumped or passed out :) Edward's reaction is interesting, was she singing to him or just really familiar in her appeal? Hopefully there'll be a little more interaction before Sarelle leaves again :)

hmm so now we meet Emmett's family, I wonder if this is the time he's come off 2nd best against the bear?
Whilst it's sad that Sarelle didn't get her chance for a proper goodbye, at least she got to leave a note for Renee :)
