Mid-30s guy with an addiction for fan fiction presently, and a slew of unfinished writing in my file cabinet and computer that I never seem to manage to complete full stories. Plots and bits and pieces, sure, but start-to-finish stories still elude me.
Aside from that I'm always over-thinking things, have a science background but love my fiction books... and I guess I'm a twi-guy being here as much as I am lately :S (I own the series and The Host as well). Also a fan of David Eddings and Clive Cussler.
Just starting an Education degree that'll eventually send me out to Middle and Secondary schools to teach math and science (mostly biology, probably).
Oh and my friends just gave me an Edward doll from the Barbie range (he sparkles! lol they didn't realise it at the time either) My Twi-diction is kind of a running joke for them, but their nice enough about it :)

Summary: 
This takes place after Edward leaves in New Moon. Jacob and Bella get married and then after 5 years together, Jacob imprints and leaves Bella heartbroken. While at her dad's house Bella finds the items Edward left under her floorboards that Bella thought were gone forever. All of this drives her to take charge and go after Edward. But after 5 years, what will happen when she finds him?

Well it was very interesting to see an Alice PoV; I'm curious to see how much of an impact Shelbie has on the family and Bella once she shows up - perhaps as much as making her think that Edward really had moved on, or maybe making her more aggressive in staking her claim (even though Shelbie (hopefully) doesn't want Edward that way hehe)
Ohhh... What will Shelbie's reaction to Bella be, I wonder? Will the bloodlust kick in before anyone can react? :)

loved it - slapping Jake and not breaking Bella's wrist was a nice one at least :)
I'm also happy to see Leah sticking with Bella on her decision to find Edward, although a little confused that Bella didn't tell her about the items from the floorboards, not that I saw at least.
Author's Response: Thanks for your support! I had a really hard time writing that part and making it something the readers would be able to buy considering Bella punched Jake and broke her hand in Eclipse. I really wanted Bella to let Jake have it though, so I had to put it in somehow. Thanks for loving it and not picking it apart like I expected the reviews to say :)
I am not sure why I didn't have Bella tell Leah about the gifts to be honest. I guess I wanted the focus of the conversation to be more on how Leah could relate to Bella and her situation. Maybe I should have at least mentioned it?

Jacksonville is going to be interesting, especially with how philosophical/wise Jacob's been getting :)
Oh, and with the time apart and the slow build up now, the "new first kiss" for B&E is shaping up to be something really intense ;) Author's Response: Some may not like how close Jake and Bella are and how they act around each other in FL but it's how I always pictured their relationship.
They will definitely miss each other while she's gone... ;-)

I don't think I have a problem with where Bella's coming from, just kind of sighing in frustration that Edward thought this would be a good night out for them both? Getting dressed up for a theatre event is something Bella would've been more able to accept - especially if it were one of the many classics that she loves.
It'll be interesting to see their conversation about the gala later.

err ok... not quite sure what's happening now, but I'm kind of leaning in the direction of Edward having been caught up with something Victoria-related and Jacob is trying to get Bella out of harms way for now.

err whilst I admire that Bella wants to "fix" the friendship with Jake, I think she should be working more towards getting a message off to the Cullens as a condition of that.
I'm guessing Edward's just about ready to declare war on the Pack on his own at this point? :P Author's Response: Don't worry, Bella will not let him keep her without a fight.
Edward's reaction to all this might surprise us all. You know how he is and how much he hates himself...

Title: Chapter 22: Visitor
wait... what?! I'm "OMG"ing at that last part there... Edward's back but not really? Jacob is so incredibly dense "What's wrong?" sigh... I know he's only a teenager, but he's a supernatural one, and surely he'd have some kind of idea/suspicion that maybe what's wrong is that Bella is too far separated from her other half. But then, he's always had a problem accepting that vampire-mates can be the equivalent of a wolf-imprint, so I guess I shouldn't be that surprised :P
Looking forward to some good news for Bella soon, I hope :) Author's Response: I think Jake is in severe denial at this point but, don't fret, he won't get away with this craziness for much longer. I hope the next chapter helps explain things a little more. Jake's motivations are driven by the need for him to keep Bella safe.
The next update is waiting to be validated so should be up soon.

Title: Chapter 23: Onward
FINALLY! I'm so happy to see Bella back where she should be! As much as I've been annoyed and frustrated with Jacob (and Bella, really), I still feel sorry for his being so lost now, losing the pack-mind and all.
Hopefully some of that will get settled sooner rather than later, I still want him to get his HEA or some kind of resolution :)
Summary: When Bella moved to Forks, she thought her biggest problems would be finding a job, buying a car, and surviving highschool. Until one day, she begins working for the dashing Dr. Cullen and spots a lonely boy in a photograph who inexplicably calls to her cautious heart and leads her into a world of myth she can scarcely comprehend.
For the past century, Edward has lived a sort of half-life. Gifted with immense power, but forever alone, he has come to loathe his very existence. A vision of a beautiful girl holds promise of a better future, but how could he ever claim to truly love her if he is willing to corrupt her soul?
She's afraid of rejection. He's afraid to commit. Will it take a tragic accident to prove that love can both create and heal the deepest wounds?
This is a re-telling of Twilight centered around the assumption that Alice DID predict the fateful meeting in Biology. I have tried hard to maintain the integrity of the central characters, so we do have insecure Bella and angsty Edward, but the plot will take us to very different places.
All canon pairings. Some characters slightly OOC. Told from alternating Bella/Edward POV's in each chapter. Rating is for language, violence, and mature themes in later chapters.

Ahh they'll get there eventually. Bella just needs to get Edward to accept her candy :) And Edward needs to realise it's ok.
Summary: 
AU Em/B R/E A/J Instaed of Edward, Bella falls for the lighthearted Emmett. I always thought Bella needed someone with less angst, so imagine Edward had fallen for Rose and she still changed Emmett because she cared for him in a more mothernly way. After putting everyone's needs before her, Bella finally gets a dose of Emmett and she can't resist. But just because Emmett is more carefree doesn't mean that Bella and he will have a perfect romance.

After the discussion died down Alice, Jasper, Edward, and I went hunting. We were out of the city limits when Alice and Edward abruptly stopped running, surprising Jasper and me.
They had one of their silent conversations and Alice began to talk, “Emmett, there was more to the vision than I led you to believe. She’s meant to be one of us, I don’t know when or how but I saw her as a vampire. I didn’t want to tell Rosalie because you know how she feels about what we are.”
She turned to Jasper and said, “We are going to be the best of friends, and I don’t want to lose that. I know you’re just being overprotective, but she’s going to be one of us, she isn’t a threat.”
