Summary: 
High school softball star Bella Swan’s life is immediately halted and turned upside-down when her father dies. In a blink of an eye, Bella is forced to leave the comfort of her hometown of Phoenix and everything else she has known to live with her estranged mother of six years and her new family in the small town of Forks, Washington. Though still in mourning over the death of her father, Bella decides to get back on her feet and find some sense of normality by going back to doing something her and her father had the best memories enjoying together--playing softball. But, Bella soon realizes that along with moving to small towns from big cities, there are consequences: No softball team.
When Bella decides not to take this news lying down, she soon finds herself in a world where she’s never been before.
