I am definitely still reading, and still loving the story.  I hope the next chapter is less than two months away, because stopping it there is cruel!!!!!!  Great chapter though!  I'm looking forward to finding out more about what Bella knows about the Volturi.

I like talkative Edward :)  His version of the events going on mentally between he and Jane and Aro gave a very nice new dimension to the version in the previous chapter.  You always get the impression, with Aro, that he's fake with Carlisle.

I'm glad Bella didn't fling herself at Edward, and her mental deliberations were pretty accurate, "I totally should...well, maybe not....yeah but why not....stop being greedy...but maybe he wants it..."  And then she got what she (clearly Edward too) wanted.  I think I like it most because of the line "I need you, too." It's not "love" but it's getting there :)

Oh yeah, and I like how he was feeling Bella out now that he knows how dangerous it's been for her to get so close to him.

I'm totally into this story, it's one of my favorites of my favorites :)  His recovery process is taking excrutiatingly long, but I assume it matches the horrendous life he's had to suffer.  Not something he can just snap back from quickly. Your pace makes me think this will be a veeeeery long story, which makes me  perfectly happy.

I was thinking that an added comfort of his being in Bella's guestroom is that her smell is likely all over everything in there, including the bed!

I was also thinking that of all the people for Edw... I mean ;) this abused vampire to fear, Bella should be the most frightening.  If he can't read her mind (I'm assuming that's the case here), the mystery of her intentions should make him the most uneasy.  I find it hard to believe he would fear Carlisle's thoughts because wouldn't he see his positive motivations, and those of all the Cullen's?  But, I'm willing to suspend that complaint to find out what he's suffered, possibly at the hands of someone he trusted????

I don't think an attack kiss is a good idea....Bella might want to wait until they're calmly in his room.

This chapter completely absorbed my attention!  Really good job describing everything! 

And I was totally right....humans trying to eliminate vampires, I so guessed that a few chapters back :):):):):)

This story is always a pleasure to come back to!  It doesn't seem to matter how long it takes for each chapter to be finished, they flow so well together.  I really enjoy the world you've created and I'm almost as excited for Bella and Edward and Rosalie and Emmett to be in Hilton Head as Bella and Edward are!
