looking forward to Mike's demise. Actually, Mike never bothered me in the book as he was harmless. Jacob on the other hand could suffer a thousand deaths. Author's Response: Mike is just delusional. I kind of took that to the next level in this story. It was all good fun though.

This was one of my favorite chapters to write. It was hard, but I ended up really liking how it came out. Aro is despicable in his treatment of Carlisle and his kin, but he loves his brother, Caius, very much. It's one of his few redeeming qualities.
