I know most people don't look at new stories, so thank you for being one of the few that look into new stories to determine their potential.
I am glad you find the story interesting so far, and I am hoping to meet up to your expectations.
Here is a little teaser for you, not orginally planned but well, I am feeling generous (winks):
My blue stilettos were driving me nuts, and the straps were digging into my skin in a way that was sure to leave horrible red welts. As I bent down to relieve one of the pressure points, I lost my wonderful balance and toppled forward, my head going straight for the passing person's torso. We both crashed to the ground, with me on top of the unfortunate soul who had been subjected to my attack. In my befuddled state I vaguely mused, 'that sure was a rock hard stomach'.
I lifted my head to look at the person's face who had become my latest victim due to my clumsiness.
All I saw were green eyes filled with fury, bronze eyebrows drawn together and a chiseled mouth set in an angry, grim line. He was beautiful, and I couldn't stop looking at him, and he at me. Well... he was kind of glaring at me, actually.

I forced myself forward, refusing to act like a smitten teenager. The charge still refused to let go, holding me down, binding me, rendering me helpless. I let my conscience pull me forward, leaving the irrationality of the absurd situation behind me.
My feet had other ideas. I stumbled as my first step into the car faltered. I almost hit my forehead on the console but a strong, vice grip grasped my arm and tugged so sharply that I collided in the most delicious way with Edward's hard chest. The impact produced a deep thud.
A sound my own heart echoed.

Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 - Malady
Sadly, I must have missed the warnings. You should put on the summary this story contains rape. I was really looking forward to this one, as I really liked the writting and plot. However, I am not into rape tales. Again, I would put a warning on the summary page. Author's Response: I am sincerely very sorry you missed them. I have mentioned in four chapters that the story will be heavy in abuse and assualt. I also have a note about that in my story notes. I can understand if you choose to discontinue the fic, but just take into account that this story does not involve rape only. It's called A Marriage Quest. Quest is the key word, it's a journey with many hurdles...so that story will be covering other topics besides rape. If you would like, I could give you a summary of the next chapter, so that it doesn't become overwhelming. But again, it's a personal decision and it's a very strong topic. While I agree about what you said about putting a warning on the summary page, I didn't do that because it reveals too much about the story. I feel that there is no anticipation as you work through the story. I hope you accept my decision and once again I am so very sorry if the chapter was hard for you. The teaser covers the topic so I am not sending it to you, choosing to respect your choice. If you don't mind and would like one, feel free to PM me. I'd be happy to send it you too. “Why can’t we get Smirnoff Ice, or at least a beer?” She reached to me in attempting a kiss, smacking her lips loudly at my ear before I could cringe away. I thought I would hear the ringing for the rest of my shitty life.
But I was a patient man, I reminded myself.
“Because we ain't got no money, baby.” It sounded alright, caring enough.
I didn’t give a shit about her, but my self-control was something I had been working on for far too long to lose it on some random girl I picked up at the bar a few weeks ago.
If she was smart and had paid any attention, she would have already figured it out—I hated whiners, I hated losers, and I hated the fact that I had no money. Rubbing it in my face every minute of a day wasn’t gaining her any points, even though it wasn’t her fault that I lost all of it in a pool game the other night.
“Well, shit.” She glanced at me with an accusing look and pulled a squashed green bag from the backseat. “Let’s see here.” She went through it, “All I have for food is Altoids. Yum!” She glanced at me again, smiling tauntingly. “Do you think we can survive on that, sweets?”
I was a patient man. One Mississippi. Two Mississippi. Three Mississippi.
“We’ll figure something out, baby.”
“Like what?!” she snapped, and I gripped the wheel of the van harder, continuing the count in my head. It now sounded more like a countdown.

Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 Pound Foolish
I can't hand with the age difference. I work with abused kids and 17 and 25 is too much of an age difference. In the state I work in he would be charged with a crime. Author's Response: I am aware of the sensitivity of the issue, and making sure that my character are too. This story is about a relationship, and not about abuse. Just because there is an age difference in the relationship, it doesn't mean there an abuse.
