"He knew this, he knew what he had had and he – he loved me anyway.". This thought caught my heart. It was a perfect explanation of Levi's love for Bella. He knew what Bella could find after his death. Thank you for writing Author's Response: Hello again!

She felt herself relax as well, just because he seemed to be doing so. Extraordinary. "So there is a large volume at White's where gentlemen record their wagers. What does that have to do with the Marks brothers?"

I love that version of P&P! When I was an undergrad, that was "the definitive version" that my professor preferred of the film adaptations for this book. Elizabeth Garvie and David...something. Sorry, cannot remember his name! (blush!) But yes, I enjoyed that version. (I was, unsurprisingly, an English major and did an author seminar on Austen, lol.)
