What if Bella’s thoughts on the plane flying back to Seattle from Italy take her in a different direction from the plot in New Moon? Just where could a little twist of fate take the characters? An indepth look at Bella's thoughts and feeling at the end of New Moon and into an AU Eclipse.
Canon couples, and rated NC17 just to be safe. I am Bella and Edward all the way, so if you like Bella and Jacob, then I am afraid this is not the story for you.

Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8
Wow, I like this new non-passive Bella. It seems right somehow that if Edward is the most person in her life, that he IS her life, then she can find the courage to overcome her self-doubts and anger to reassure him. Beautifully written.
Summary: I ran into Rob Pattinson.
And I was wearing a shirt with his face on it.
When Aimee has a chance encounter with Rob Pattinson things go from bad to awful in seconds. Could it have to do with the fact that his face is displayed for the world to see on her chest? Possibly.

Title: Chapter 10: Bloody Hale
"I'll Take You There"- The Staples Singers
Grrrreat Chappie! Wheee...
Summary: A long and tiresome journey and a wrongly booked ticket later, Bella Swan finds herself sitting next to renowned actor Edward Cullen and learns that whether flying coach or first class, karma gets her way.
Exerpt:
“Well… that’s embarrassing.” I looked up in the direction of the male voice that was responsible for the comment and nearly died. Nearly. Instead, I shrieked and flung my glass of champagne right in the lap of the owner. I was clearly hallucinating, because the man sitting next to me could not possibly be… I closed my eyes and opened them again. But he was still there a slightly uncomfortable look on his beautiful face as he retrieved my glass from his lap and inspected the damage to his trousers.
“This is a new reaction,” he mumbled all the while I gaped at him and glanced at the magazine checking whether he had jumped out of it. But Edward Cullen was still gazing at me from the page, his eyes hypnotising and in addition the exact - slightly displeased - replica (with perhaps a bit more facial hair, and clothes) was undeniably sitting in the chair next to me.
“I’m so sorry!” I finally managed to croak out when I remembered how to speak. Before I could thoroughly think it through I grabbed a napkin from my backpack and dove to dab his pants. He was not the only one who jumped up as my hand came into contact with his crotch.
“I got it,” he said louder than I had heard him speak so far. For a moment he cast me an exasperated look and I almost felt the need to ensure him I was not trying to feel him up. He held up his hand as a stop sign and snatched the napkin from my hand, still hovering over him. I wasn’t sure whether he was mad or embarrassed. I was too busy trying to sink through my chair in shame.

Title: Chapter 1: Take off
"It was the sun complementing a fire fly for its brightness. And the firefly was having severe heart arrhythmia to begin with from the sheer fact that the sun was speaking to it." Absolutely brilliant! It's rare that someone can blow me away with such a unique and stunning image. I really love your 'wordsmithing'. Keep up the excellent work.
Author's Response: Thank you, such a wonderful compliment. And thank you for noticing in the first place. Often little facets like that just seem to disappear :) There are four more chapters up, in case you missed it. Twlighted can still confuse the hell out of me lol.
Thanks again. Very glad you enjoyed it!!!

Title: Chapter 3: Down the Rabbit Hole
You really have a talent for defining characters and I LOVE character driven stories. I love Mr. Henson... I could totally see him at the Nursing Home disco- and his love for his wife was so evident even in that brief exchange with Bella. She is wonderful too: intelligent, quirky and compassionate. One could see why Edward would easily fall in love with her. You have me hooked!

Title: Chapter 4: Out of Tune
"It all made sense and at the same time it didn’t. I felt like a blind man trying to grasp the concept of colour. " Wonderful, wonderful wonderful! Keep up the stunning visual imagery-it's just great.
I really appreciate how REAL you make Edward: his proud thoughts about how responsible his brother Emmett is, the angst over his friend Jasper dating his sister Alice ( what normal guy wouldn't be weirded out by this just a little?); even his amusement with Lilly and the testicles/tentacles debacle. I had many similar run-ins with my own daughter when she was young and it was all I could do to the laughter in when she told me how she "sharpened the peniles for the teacher in school today!"
I saw that you recently updated and can't wait to the new chappie... just rereading the other sections for continuity.
Summary:

Exactly a year ago, Jasmine left her disastrous past in Australia and moved to LA. She makes a modest living playing music on the street and working in a record store, reveling in the anonymity of her now relaxed life with her new friends and comfortably messy home.
Robert Pattinson is, give or take, the most wanted man in the world, an overnight prodigy. When chance has it that he quite literally crashes his way into Jasmine’s life, he accidentally can’t leave her alone. A few more change meetings take them on a journey of discovery where they experience the effects of sleep deprivation, Steve Buscemi’s face etched into a wall, some amazing live music and a great deal of food based nostalgia. Oh and they may or may not have a crush on each other, or something.
How important is it to stay true to yourself, when the bright lights of Hollywood threaten to burn right through you?

Title: Chapter 1: Best Friends
A suprising (and funny) start to this story. I feel like this is a well-rehearsed flim-flam: how many times have the two of them plied it on poor unsuspecting bimbos? I had a very good laugh at that and I'm glad poor, affable Kellen will finally get a moment in the sun!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review!! This story is kind of a mirror of my friendship with my absolute best guy friend, and we definitely had our moments of 'saving' each other. So I truly hope everyone likes it. I hope to make you proud with my Kellan :) He's just so much of a teddy bear!!

Title: Chapter 78: Chapter 78- Family Matters
Steph-
Learning to play the cello? I always knew you were a method writer!
I loved this chapter. Having experienced family difficulties with my own brother, I anxiously awaited how Jen would handle the reunion with Robb. You kept Jen true to herself, strong and able to be the bigger person. ( I really feel that inherently women have a greater capacity to swallow their pride when necessary- I guess it facilitates keeping a family together).
I also can always count on you for a twist as well . Meaghan a twihard/Rob fan? Should we call her Number 1 1/2 or Mini me? This will be GREAT when Rob arrives in a few days, awkward does not begin to describe the scenarios that I have envisioned. Brother Robb had better learn some self control when everyone is introduced... I can imagine our Rob won't hold his tongue so willingly if Jen's brother snipes at her again. Rob can be vicious in defense of his family and Jen most certainly is that. I hope Robb's heart can withstand the onslaught.
Finally it is so cute that you started an Amishward story! I must say that the hat in VF reminded me of the same thing. Living in PA we certainly see a lot of Amish here. Please don't make him grow a weird mustache-less beard though. Those do not improve anyone's appearance even if you are blessed with the genetics of Diana and Zeus!
Cheers,

Title: Chapter 84: Chapter 84- Freedom
Loved the jokes about frigid vampire sex. I used to joke with my husband that Bella might be knocked unconscious from the force of Edward's supernatural erection while giving him a blow job or hand job. I guess that would give a whole new meaning to the term " cold cocked"!
I am so happy that Rob and Jen can finally walk hand in hand away from their closeted lives towards freedom. I want to embroider little rainbow flags with their names for them ( or the paparazzi). So proud of our couple. Can't wait for Orcas- back to where it all began and the place I fell in love with the both of them. There won't be a lot of angst before that will there? (:<)

Title: Chapter 77: Chapter 77- Number One Fan
Oh! This was such a pleasant interlude before you throw us out into the cold , cruel world. I had such a happy feeling reading this chapter, like when your skin tingles all over just after a wave breaks around you in the ocean.
I am so glad Jen has stengthened her relationship with the 'little number ones'. At first I was concerned that she was bing disingenuous meeting her group face to face and pretending to be just another fan. Would the others turn on her when they learn the truth? However with this group I suspect the reaction will be more like Leah and now Suzette (smart women who doesn't forget a face). They appreciate Rob for his talent and gracious nature- they want him to be happy no matter whom he chooses to share his life with.
Just when I am about to take the cherry off this sundae of a chapter we a thrown back into reality with the unpleasnatness that is Robb Brown. Remind me was our last exposure to him the horrible phone call on Christmas Day? How can a grown adult blame a child for the death of a parent simply by being born. This man has some serious issues and if he isn't dead already I look forward to our Rob setting him straight a bit.
Lovely as always,
Mrs. D
Author's Response: thanks Mrs. D!
oh Jen and her Number ones. Yes, definitely a slippery slope to tread as one of the fans and yet, Rob's love. but i like your course of thought in that there are many out there that would embrace her soley for the fact that Rob is happy with her. And she cares about him genuinely.
Ah Robb Brown. yes, the last time we heard from him was on Christmas.
He has some serious issues about Jen and his mother, which have in turn coloured Jen's memory of her mother and growing up, which then in turn have warped her perception of what it is to be a mother.
He has some explaining to do. And Jen has some learning to do from her brother too. ooooh I have been dying to bring the brother back in! YAY its finally here!
so glad you liked it!
more soon i promise!

Title: Chapter 56: Chapter 56-Reality Crashing
Oh my God, I am so glad it isn't cancer. Being an OB myself, I began to suspect that she might have been pregnant and then with the symptoms possibly have a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. Please let her be okay, she has already been through so much.
I really feel that Nick was wrong (AGAIN)n to not contact Rob. Rob has said over and over that people are more important than things and Jen is the most important of all. This was his chance to show that, but she doesn't trust him or herself enough to believe it. I am confident that Jen will heal physically, but the violation of Rob's trust that she has caused is significant and may take much longer to resolve itself.
Hopefully Clare, being the wonderful mother that she is will call Rob and then knock some sense into both of them. I agree that Rob is young in years but Jen is so emotionally stunted she hasn't progressed much farther in her development.
Keep up the wonderful writing. Your story is compelling and all of the characters are so finely drawn. I don't "like" all of them but can appreciate that for their stories, like life, there is no black and white. Author's Response: thanks so much my dear.
I guarantee that she will be ok physically. emotionally... that is another story. but we'll get thru that too. and hopefully have a feistier girl when all said and done.
Nick... he is making steps...i agree, Rob needs to know, and soon... but he is going to respect their relationship and their privacy. ANd you are so right... Jen is more important to Rob than any movie... she needs to tell him soon. or Clare... something. and you know Rob. he is stubborn, and intelligent, he may decide to come to her regardless.
This will test their bonds, definitely, and maybe provide them the strength they need to grow beyond this...
thank you my dear. i am so glad you don't like them all. it makes the story that much more "real" i hope.
more soon!

Title: Chapter 59: Chapter 59-Stand Up Eight
So beautiful, as always. I don't what to say really. I feel emotionally gutted. You know already that I appreciate how complex you make these characters.
When Jen hugged Nick, even though she hates him, isn't that we are all about really? Seeing what's important, the meaning of our lives- OUR ONE THING. Thank you for reminding me about mine.
The Phoenix imagery- rising out of the ashes as the plane climbs into the clouds- I don't know what to say. I feel priviledged to witness your talent first hand.
-Mrs. D Author's Response: thank you Mrs.D. our one thing. fight for it, hold it tight, don't let anyone come between you and it. Jen may not forgive Nick, but she sees the effort he took to make her see.
these characters are dear to me, i am so happy to hear they touch you. that makes this all worth while.

Title: Chapter 74: Chapter 74-Remember Me?
Steph-
I'm sorry I haven't commented in a while, even in silence I have been faithfully reading each and every update!
Even though NTE is told solely through Jen's POV, I always feel that some chapters are more "owned"by Rob or Jen in terms of the emotional dynamic. I really felt that Jen shined here in her efforts to take control of their private life. For the first time since her trip to LA I saw the fire of the old Jen and I have definitely been missing the strong independent character that attracted me to this story.
I too didn't cheat and find out the ending of Remember Me ahead of time. This was quite a feat as I didn't see it till the film was out on video. It devastated me as well having lost a good friend who worked in Cantor Fitzgerald, but mainly the tragic loss of someone who was so young and promising. Even with my feelings surrounding 9-11 I don't think I would have felt the same if Rob's portrayal of Tyler hadn't been so dead on. I was glad you could express that so accurately through Jen's emotions.
As always, a WONDERFUL update-
Mrs D Author's Response: Thanks Mrs D!
No worries on the quiet following, i completely understand and happy to have you reading!
Ah, you said it beautifully. It's like a dance with these two. When one leads the other follows, regardless of the POV. They do well together. And absolutely Jen is feeling a sense of courage and willful determination to make sure their life is their own. She's finding herself again. I missed her too.
It is proof positive that Rob's talents lie in more than simply a pretty face when people can look at the tragedy in this film and walk out with perhaps more perspective on their own lives. And yes, i think if he had been less than what he was as tyler, I would have felt this movie may have mocked our tragedy. But he, and the wonderful cast with him made this movie so amazing. We're all a little like Jen in that respect, yeah?
thanks so much my dear!

Summary:

Superstar Rob Pattinson, falls in love with the beautiful and talented Twilight soundtrack producer, Bella Jordan. Their love story includes a very romantic marriage proposal, a battle with a psychotic woman who believes she is the vampire, Victoria and lemons.
Excerpt:
When I could no longer hold my eyes open, I left Rob with the band. He was the happiest I had ever seen him. I walked through the pool courtyard and hit the “on” button for the hot tub jets, peeled off my clothes and stepped in. “Ahh,” I sighed out loud.”
I had no idea how long I had been blissfully drifting in the whirling bubbles when I felt something brush my foot. I jumped and opened my eyes to see Rob smiling back at me from the other side of the tub.
“You scared the crap out of me!” I yelled.
“I’m so sorry,” he laughed.
“I thought you guys would be playing all night?” I asked.
“They finally quit.” I heard him sigh as he sank lower into the tub. He started playing footsie with me, and I automatically batted his foot away with mine. He looked at me with a pained expression.
“What?” I said.
“I’m so sorry,” he replied.
“For what?” I asked.
“I know I’m supposed to let you lead the way,” he said.
The scared little girl in me blurted a reply before I could stop her. “Rob, there are at least 3 million other women on the planet willing to play footsie or play with any other body part of yours for that matter. I don’t think you need my feet to keep you happy!”
Suddenly he was next to me. “You can’t seriously think that I LIKE all of this attention. It makes me want to throw up when I’m in a crowd and women are screaming and clawing at me.”
Damn! I thought. Why did I just say that? What is wrong with me?
“I’m so sorry. I…I don’t know why I just said that. I think it’s that scared part of me that wanted to push you away. I know you hate all the attention. I’m so sorry.”
He brushed my cheek. “I know you’re scared. And yes, I realize I could have just about any woman out there, but I don’t want that! It’s empty and meaningless.”
“I know,” I said. I put my hand on his cheek. “I’m so sorry.”
He put his hand on mine. “I don’t want a stranger. I want to make love. Bella, I want to make love to you.”

Title: Chapter 14: Epilogue
Very enjoyable story and a lovely ending. However, as an OB/GYN I feel compelled to point out that you can't identify the baby's gender from an ultrasound at 12 weeks and no woman would feel any movement at that number of weeks. Most pregnant women don't feel movement (especially with the first pregnancy) until 18 to 20 weeks- (4 to 5 months) - Mrs. D
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I'm glad you liked it. I do research all aspects of my story. There are two journal articles which support that it is possible to detect the baby's sex by ultrasound at 12 weeks. "First trimester diagnosis of gender" which appeared in the Journal: Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology 1999; 13:301–304 13:305–30 and "First trimester diagnosis of gender" which appeared in the Journal: Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology 1999; 13:301–304. I also Googled 'baby movement at 12 weeks' and there were hundreds of blogs from women who said they felt movement that early. (I know I did!). I'm sure there are tons of evidence to debunk seeing or feeling anything at 12 weeks, but this is a fantasy, afterall. :) Thanks, again for reading and taking the time to write.

Title: Chapter 22: Chapter 22-Breaking the Girl
Dear 'Lost'
Wow I am up WAY too late reading this when I should be long in bed! You really are such a gifted writer that I must say I have to hate you ( just a little) for twisting my gut like this.
I really think Nick is a prick, but hey even The Devil was once a fallen angel. He really thought what he was doing was the best course of action for Rob. I am not even sure if monetary gain was the primary factor. His singleminded determination reminds me of the testimony of Nazi physicians and SS guards at Nuremberg who were able to detach themselves from committing horrible crimes because they had the the cult-like belief that their cause was just. Don't misunderstand me- I would never say Nick is that evil, just that he has a similar mind set: the end justifies the means.
My God, how many pathways to Hell have been paved with the same good intentions? Between NTE and OTT both in such sad places right now I may have to double my antidepressants( JK)
What a F*king mess- I can't tear myself away!
Mrs D. Author's Response: thank so much my dear. and its ok if you hate me... its a lot of angst...
Nick truly did believe he was doing the right thing. he thought he was doing the best thing for Rob. but as he watched her come apart, he started to see just how wrong it all was. fallen angel is an excellent description....
it has been a tumultuous week. happy times are coming... i priomise!
thanks so much!

I just read all four chapters and all I can say is OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS STORY SO MUCH. I desperately want them to get together and fix each others broken selves. Title: Chapter 1: First Sight
Interesting idea to replace Bella in the Twilight story with a fresh character. I always thought she came off too passive and bland to warrant that many people being fascinated with her. I am pleased that Cassie seems to have more spunk.
From Edward's reaction it is obvious that Cassie is his singer- the initial basis for his fascination. I like that she is an artist, she should have some commonality later on with the musician in Edward. But how will the relationship progress with Edward convinced he should stay away and Cassie strong in her belief that High School relationships aren't a good idea. I am interested to see how you work that out.
And, it is always good to start a story with some mystery. Why EXACTLY did Cassie leave Michigan? Did it have something to do with her Mom's new husband or just a bad break up?
All in all a very good start. Don't leave us hanging too long for the next chapter!
Summary: For Bella, it was love at first sight, and to this day, he still owns her heart. For Edward, he barely knew she existed until a chance encounter brings her into his life and into his heart. Life gets in the way and he breaks her heart. After children, marriages and 10 years have passed, can they find their way to each other again, or is it too late? She knows she'll never love anyone the way she loves him, but can he ever envision a life with her in it?

Title: Chapter 17: Chapter 16 - If You Only Knew
Ooh... Such a good chapter! I really shouldn't be reading this at work but I couldn't resist when I saw that it had been updated. Your story is so compelling.
It is horrible what happened to Bella, but sadly sometimes perpetrator violence against someone other than the spouse is what makes the charges stick. When I was working in a Women's and Children's DV shelter years ago whe had a guy break in during the Christmas Party. He was looking for his kid and ended up landing an uppecut to my jaw when I wouldn't deliver her into his arms. Fortunately he didn't knock me out and I was so mad as I went down that I ended up giving him a strong swift kick to the balls. After that the police were there from the silent alarm and took him away. I did press charges against the asshole and he ended up getting 7 years for assault and battery as well as PFA violations. The assurance that he was locked away was just what that Mom needed to get away and start a new life, too.
Perhaps this scare with Bella will also convince Edward how precious she is to him and strengthen his resolve to not ditch it all when he gets scared. I would still like to know more about that-- I can't believe there isn't more to that story. It just doesn't sound believeable that he would abandon such a great relationship! Loved the details in the last chapter too regarding Bella's discussions with Edward and her kids, I just didn't have a chance to review yet.
I can't wait to read more! Author's Response: Thank you Thank you!! You have helped me out with my research on James going down in flames! :) Stay tuned!

Title: Chapter 24: Present Day - Part II
Marie:
I can honestly say that I thought the previous "ending" was perfect. I couldn't imagine that I would need anything more, but you outdid yourself yet again.
Some add-on chapters are just silly, a littany of events that happen without any real emotion or depth, written because it's hard to say goodbye to something you love. Your present day was not like that AT ALL. Every fear that Bella had and every tear she cried for Edward when he woke up I felt too.
There was so much real emotion present the characters just lept off the page ( or screen in this case) for me. I adored how you handled telling the kids about Daddy Edward's accident and I cried for Kaylie when she had to hear the horrible news over the phone. Some adults can be so selfish and not put their own personal demons aside for the sake of a scared child. You definitely showed Bella to to be the bigger man so to speak. It would have been so easy to rip Tanya a new one.
Congratulations on really completing this journey and I can't wait to begin the next one with you!!
Mrs. D. Author's Response: You seriously just made me cry! Good tears...good tears! Thank you doesn't seem like much...but THANK YOU!!! XOXOXOX :)

Title: Chapter 19: Chapter 18 - Bring It On Home To Me
Marie-
WOW!!! This chapter... I don't know what to say. You handled this difficult process SO sensitively. I loved how Bella just sat in her car in the rain after signing the papers- feeling numb. It felt right for her character. Not that the divorce wasn't what she wanted, but that she needed to mourn the end of a significant chapter in her life and admit that her marriage was a failure. Failure is not something that anyone accepts easily.
You are really building a very strong relationship between Edward and Bella as well. The fact that he could just sit with her as she cried over another man and not be threatened is really quite extraordinary. I LOVE how you are painting all of your characters not as black and white, but in beautiful shades of gray. After all, isn't that where most of us end up living anyway?
I am sure you have heard this before- but keep writing! You are truly talented and should think about publishing in the future.
much love,
Mrs. D Author's Response: You seriously brought tears to my eyes with this review! Thank you so much for your support! Lots and lots of love!!! xoxox

Title: Chapter 14: Chapter 13 - If I'm Not In Love With You
Great to see another chapter up! I really like how you are fleshing out the adjustment Bella is making to being a single parent. Considering the young age at which she married this is really the first time that she hasn't been 'parented or partnered' as I would say. Props to you for showing that it isn't an easy ride.
I am curious how Bella is supporting herself would be interested to see the thoughts of at least her older children on the separation. It must be hard on them when Jake refuses to participate in family events. Often young kids don't see who is at fault for this- they just want things to go back to a time when it didn't hurt so much.
Looking forward to the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review! You're exactly right...she knows no other life! I like the idea, and maybe we can get a good point of view on that for you soon! xoxo
