Long time writer of Harry Potter Fanfiction, my daughter finally won her battle in making me read Twilight, and quite rightly fell in love. Numerous plot bunnies are rapidly procreating, and hopefully will bloom brilliantly in story form. Have in the past been called (in the best way possible) a nazi beta. Reading/English teacher by trade, so I come by it honestly. Don't have a team.(I'm selfish, dunno why she can't just have both!) That being said, i like AU couples, Jasper and Carlisle being favorites! Any other questions will have to be asked before I answer. Oh, and yes, I have a yahoo group where I post announcements of new stories (original, HP and Twilight Fanfic--obviously, they're all housed at different places!) http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DryadStories/
Also, actively seeking a beta. The more anal, the better, and I admit to really appreciating a fast turnover. Don't need grammar as much as consistency, and sounding board (though, I really do go overboard with commas!) My current betas are only in the HP fandom, so what I'm doing now is a loss to them.

Summary: 
Did it ever bother anyone else that Leah was always getting the shaft in the books? After all, she was hurting just as Jacob was hurting, yet no one could spare her a shred of sympathy.
In this story, Leah quite literally gets the shaft – five of them, in fact. She also gets even.

okay, i really like it..i do...but since you're asking what's wrong...the decision to let them live seems abrupt...maybe perhaps if it looked like Aro was looking for an excuse to let them off, and Caius was the one who wanted to wipe them out? then he could be sympathetic, and it would be more believeable that he was letting them off? Or perhaps if the fight with them, the cullens took out a few of the guard, making them rethink?
Just some wandering thoughts...but pleasedon't think I didn't enjoy it! Author's Response: Ahh I see what you mean - yeah that could've worked! It was just something was missing and I think that's it lol It all got a bit sudden xD

Summary: When Charlie threatens to send Bella for mental help, he doesn't back down - but moving on is far from what Bella wants to do. As she ignores the help of others, she sinks deeper. “Why, Edward? Why did you leave?” I noticed the shaking of my quiet voice.
“I thought you’d be okay.”
