Chapter 33: Vials and Trials
Okay, um, holy crap.
I'm not even sure of what to say here, but I can't just NOT review.
I don't usually like 'dark Edward', but something about the summary made me click. Read the first chapter, left to go see Eclipse for the 15th time, came back and read up to chapter 22 before going to sleep.
Had a nightmare about it, woke up, kept reading. I finished reading what you have posted a while ago, but honestly didn't know what to say in a review. I still don't know, but I'm here to give it a try. Or at least babble.
It's brilliantly written, for starters. Edward is dark, but there are reasons, and there's a tiny (admittedly fraying) thread of goodness to him from the start.
Then he loses his ever-lovin' mind. Holy crap. This is by far the 'best' insanity I've ever personally seen. And what I mean by 'best' is... one could really feel the insanity. I felt drawn in, and shocked, and empathetic.
The two 'best' insanity scsnes were with the little boy and on the beach. That whole beach thing, with 'Sand Bella'... holy crap! That a little bit blew my brain.
How much can you write in these? I should wrap it up, 'cause I don't know if my ramblings will get cut off.
I'm hoping for a happy ending. I'm actually glad I came in late on this story, with so many chapters already posted. I think I would have lost my mind worse than Edward, waiting for the next. Now it seems there are only two to go. I can keep my sanity through two. Hopefully.
