Title: Chapter 45: Chapter 45 - Outside The Bubble
Whew! That was a sweet & spicy chapter! :) I had kind of a strange reaction to this chap. (not in a bad way, just not something I expected) I had a kind of "proud mommy" moment when he was talking about how he finally realized he is
deserving of all the good things I his life. I have
a 2 year old son and I want him to believe in himself and have that same kind of confidence, so I was relieved that Rob was beginning to be that way. It was kind of a strange reaction considering he was naked in bed with Gem, but that's what I felt. I could just imagine how proud his parents would be when they saw that he was finally seeing himself the way they always had. AND THEN I was just lusting over the hotness that is Rob and loving his bedroom skills! LOL!!! 2 completely different emotions...the result of a wonderful writer!

Aww, I love that you had a "proud mommy" moment! That's sweet! Both Rob and Gemma really have come a long way throughout this story and I feel exactly the same way. It's been nice to watch them grow and become more confident people, together.
Hehee, your other reaction to bedroom Rob was great too. Sweet and spicy definitely sums up this chapter well, I think! It was actually a hugely important chapter for Rob and Gemma, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it. :)

Awesome chapter! I was hoping she'd make that silly Brit Boy get his fine arse off the floor! ;)
I could feel Gem's tension through the whole chapter and I was reading as fast as I could hoping those two would get some relief! You wrote a great chapter as always. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

The tension between Rob and Gemma certainly reached boiling point in this chapter, didn't it? They finally decided to go with their hearts rather than just being "good", and it was so much better.

I really love how you've made Rob into a "real" guy. Too many fics paint him as the perfect man. It nice to read, but just not realistic. I'm loving the turn of events in this story. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Title: Chapter 39: Chapter 39 - Healing
Wow! Such an intense and realistic chapter. I can totally relate to Gemma's feelings and reactions. When you're trying to figure things out with someone who has hurt you so deeply, you have those moments when you want to forget all the drama and just be reminded of how good things used to be...if only for a night. I know that some may think she jumped into bed too quickly with Rob, but if you've ever been in a similar situation then you know why Gem did it.
On a lighter note...nothing says "I'm sorry" like many expensive gifts! Rob needs to bust out the American Express! ;-)

Hmm, intense is a great way to describe this chapter. It was a difficult one to write, but so important for Rob and Gemma. Things are certainly not all better between them, and they both realize that. But they needed to reconnect and find comfort in each other again, even if it was only for one night, as you said.
Ha! You want Rob to buy lots of expensive gifts to make up for it? Aww. I'm sure he definitely could if he wanted to, but would that help though? I think Gemma already knows he could buy her anything she wanted, but that's not really the issue. Fun idea though. ;)

Title: Chapter 40: Chapter 40 - As Natural As Breathing
Well, you did it again! I was glued to the story and couldn't read fast enough! Seriously, how can anyone blame Gemma for having that man in her bed?!?!?!?! ;-)
Clearly he is trying to prove that he realizes what a mistake he's made. I love that Gemma is allowing herself the comfort she needs but acknowledging her fears and reservations at the same time. I'm really glad that Sarah didn't jump down her throat about it. I loved that she was so understanding of her friend and is still a little unsure about Rob at the same time. Sarah is one of my favorite characters in this story. She's awesome! Only 6 chapters left, huh??? Hmmmm...is that enough time to reconcile, get engaged, married and have children? LOL! Just kidding! Yep, Rob is desperately trying to prove to Gemma that he loves her more than anything else... Hence the reason he didn't go to work. He couldn't leave her. As he said, he was where he wanted to be and nothing was more important than that. He still has some issues to work out and Gemma has some big decisions to make, but you're right - she's definitely allowing herself to be comforted by him too. They had a fun morning together - something they both desperately needed, but she's still holding back. She hasn't forgiven him completely, and he knows it.
Sarah is a lovely friend, isn't she? She's always supportive, even though she's still a bit wary of Rob. And yep, only six chapters left! Hehee, you'll just have to wait and see what's in store for them. :)

I apologize for taking so long to review. RL got a little crazy on me!
You did such an amazing job on this story. The ending was just perfect. Gemma and Rob came full circle with their relationship and grew up together as well. I have enjoyed following this story so much. I am beyond excited that you are blessing all of us with a sequel! You have a great talent for taking you readers on a fun and exciting journey. I can't tell you how many times I connected with something that happened in the story or something that Gemma said or felt. I will be rereading DLT while waiting for the new story! :)
Thanks again for sharing with us. I was a teacher for 10 years before my son was born and I know how crazy that life is. The fact that you even have the energy to write after teaching kids all day amazes me! :) Looking forward to beginning a new adventure with Rob and Gem soon. xoxoxo

And yep, a sequel! It's coming along nicely... although a bit slowly at the moment because I'm about to start writing student reports! You'd know all about report writing time and it isn't pretty! Hehee. That's actually when I started writing Days Like This though, this time last year - to distract myself from writing reports! So we'll see how Outside The Bubble goes. :)
