Summary:

Three years after "Crescent Moon" Renee Dwyer has come to an impasse in her personal life, Charlie Swan has come to a crossroad in his professional life and Nessie Cullen is a senior in high-school. She is also in love with a mortal, much to the worry of Renee. The Cullen family of vampires is, for the most part, indifferent to Nessie's affections for a boy. They are too busy dealing with their own worries. As the preeminent Coven of Vampires, they must decide to either take action against a threat to the doctrine that all vampires live under and by doing so put the family in harms way, or do nothing and watch as all hell breaks loose.

If Kachiri and Zafrina can't locate these rogue vampires, they must be the ones with the power of invisibility. That's going to make them a bit harder to find and deal with. That's what the Cullens get for destroying Aro and Caius, kind of like, tag, you're it!

It nearly warms the cockles of my heart, that the Volturi are having a crisis of leadership. About time someone gave them a little problem, instead of the other way round.

This whatever Nessie has for Sean Bowden, makes me wonder if she knows about the imprinting of shape-shifters and their mates. Almost makes me a bit sorry for Jacob, if Ness is about to throw him under the bus.

It has to gall Jane to ask the Cullens for help of any kind. This Kadin, of the Rhone coven is pretty shrewd, and fairly smart, too. It does sound as if there will be a major problem if the Patagonians aren't dealt with, and soon. By the way, Nessie is a smart girl to handle Bowden the way she has.

Kind of like a hive of bees, then, with all sharing in the talents and efforts of each other. Quite a unique  premise, and one which is totally logical. The other covens around the world may have their hands full soon.

Little Miss Cullen better listen to her human grandmother. When it comes to being grown and thinking you're grown, experience is the factor that makes the difference. Nessie's reaction to Jacob's accusation sort of proves that. Just like a typical teen's.

Charles SWan and a fishing pole, a beautiful combination. I see what his family is saying, though. That's not much of a plan, and Charlie is too young to sit on his butt and do nothing, it would kill him. He needs to be of use and stay busy.

Some good thoughts in this chapter, especially the one about finding more than can be handled by the Cullens. I don't blame Ness, or Charlie for being concerned. On the other hand, I see the reasons for mixing in this situation. You take care of a problem before it takes care of you.

Sounds like these two yahoos have a fairly decent escape plan. Without Charlie Swan as police chief, they may just get away with it, too. Somehow, I feel like this will mean an intersecting  path, between the convicts and the wolves, and maybe the vampires, too. That should be entertaining!.

Don Fowler's  plan seems to be working just fine, and aided by the new Forks police chief's attitude, might do well.

That Kadin is a sneaky devil, he thinks he can get rid of the Olympic and Volturi covens and have more power for himself. He seems to be quite the politician, looking out for the main chance.

You have to sympathize  with Charlie, nobody wants to hear from him  since he's out of office, even if he's right. Especially since he might be right. I hope there's no danger to campers. Politics and police work should not mix that much.

Saving Grace by TwiliteAddict Rated: PG-13 starstarstarstarstar [Reviews - 13]
Summary:

"You know, my record is almost as clean as Carlisle's...Better than Esme." (Rosalie to Bella, pg. 163, Eclipse).  With that one statement, Rosalie made it known Esme has tasted human blood.  But what could make such a loving vampire violate her compassionate nature.  Or did she?

Esme never gives up her role in the family, which is being the heart. Her love is boundless and unending, all encompassing. I think she answered Grace's plea because of her compassion, and it was the right thing to do. She saved that girl a miserable death and gave her what she wanted. Esme's tender heart will always wonder if she did the right thing, but like Carlisle with Elisabeth, it was. It's good, too, that she could help make Bella feel a bit easier about her near-slip.

Author's Response:

She is the heart and such a wonderful companion for Carlisle.  This topic has strong opinions on both sides -- so it was a challenge to write.  Initially the idea seemed straight forward, but as with writing Catharsis, I soon found the issue much more complicated.  Thank you so much for reading and for all your encouraging reviews!!

If someone gave you three wishes, would you use them?  That's the question Bella Swan, practical psychology major, has to decide when her grandmother presents her with a story that she can't believe, and a blue sapphire ring that she's always coveted.  If you could go to any time in your future would you make the wish?

AU-Human.  Told in Bella's POV.  Cannon Couples.  OOC.  Not angsty, but a few tissues may be necessary in places.  Language, Lemons (of course...you know me).  It's different than anything else I've written.  Interested in a little magic?

Bella was pretty brave to film Alice's delivery, but it will sure show her how much Jasper loves her! Bella and Edward being pregnant is so cool! He should have warned her ahead of time though. She sure felt guilty messing up the supposed timeline. Can't wait to see what they have!

I was pretty sure they would wait, because it felt like that was very important to Edward and he's so important to Bella. You wrote it perfectly! Wonderful love making, and so sweet when he made her drink cranberry juice, and pee! Now that's being considerate of your virgin bride! Their honeymoon was cute, too, especially the sandy beach part!

Emmett catching Edward in the shower was funny enough, but the girls dying of laughter, and Rose falling on the floor! That was just too much! I laughed so hard I cried and damn near wet my pants! It just kept getting better, with the conversation in front of the cashier, then Edward blurting out Bella was pregnant. I figured Charlie would have a cow over them marrying so soon. The knocking on the door should be Edward defending his territory from Fernando!

I'm kind of ashamed of Charlie Swan, trying to be a manipulative father, like he did! I hope he comes to feel ashamed of himself! Reading this, you know full well that these two are meant to be together, forever! Nobody should mess with that!

There probably is no doctor like Edward, but we can always dream, I guess. Bella's cooking skills are always intimidating to me, as I'm a student of the slapdash school of cooking! They are both great in this story, by the way!

You'll get no complaints from me! I think this little tale of yours is absolutely darling, and am enjoying it thoroughly! Go, Bella!

I'll bet Marie told him about the ring! I wonder if he believes in it?

The truckstop waitress, Dot, was so sweet to Bella, just really got a kick out of her! Edward telling her how long he had waited for her was just as she had hoped, too bad Bella never got the chance to tell him, ditto! Things are going along swimmingly, and no surprise that Bella used her second wish to make sure of their future together. Now to make sure Rosalie and Emmett meet and life is good!

It's all falling into place, all right, and very nicely with Edward, too! I have a buzz in the back of my mind, that his research has been on Alzheimers disease, because of Bella's Grandma Marie. I just feel that would be like him, caring and considerate, and also kind of in love with Bella. Hope I'm right! p.s., I love this story!

This does sound like the wish is coming true, bit by bit. Just a few more pieces of the puzzle, sort of, left to happen. Part of the 'crush on Edward" deal, seems to be due to Bella's lack of self-confidence. She just won't see herself as worthy of his romantic attentions, for some odd reason!

I'm hoping that Bella saves her last wish for the same purpose as her grandmother did, but the first one was pretty interesting! Maybe she will be more convinced of the truth of her grandma's  last talk with her, especially if it all comes to pass!

Interesting? I'll say! This whole idea is wonderful, in the true sense of that word! You have hit the jackpot with this one, even with no sparkling vampires! Too bad Bella doesn't quite believe, yet.
