Summary:
It has been four years since Edward left Bella in New Moon. There were no werewolves and Jacob was never more than Bella's friend. Bella has just graduated from college when Edward accidently crosses her path and finds himself being drawn back into Bella's life. But Bella is not the same teenager he knew. She is a grown woman with a very grown up lifestyle. This tells the story of how Edward, realizing he can't live without the love of his existence, and with the help of all of the Cullens, endeavors to win her back. There are some laughs along the way. The story is EPOV and rated NC-17 for sexual language and content.

How sweet that Esme wins her bet! The DisneyWorld experience was a lot of fun for both Bella and Edward. The best part was that final test, that he seems to have passed with flying colors. Pardon me, I have to go be a voyeur now.

Too bad about Charlie and Renee hating Edward, but hardly a surprise. What was a surprise was Edward's thoughtless remarks about Julian. The guy needs to know when to shut the hell up! He lucked out this time, but it could get him in real trouble if he;s not careful.

Hoist with his own petard, Edward really has to learn to stop jumping to conclusions. He hung himself with his own mouth that time. Just as he nearly did in Orlando, with Bella.

Tell your sis to lighten up on you. Sisters are like that sometimes, I know this from having one of my very own. Edward is feeling like someone kicked him in the gut right now, I hope he is going to be okay, soon. Bella is guilt-ridden right now. Hopefully that's all, plus Charlie never has quite liked Edward anyway.

Being the smart guy he is, Edward's decided to follow Alice's vision advice. It's the only way to hang on to Bella that I can think of. If he trys to force her hand, it will just blow up in his face. Be strong, Edward, and remember she loves you!

I give Edward credit for hanging in there, choking down his doubts and trusting his Bella. All good things come to he who waits. This is all so new to him, I know how difficult it has been to grit his teeth and just be there for Bella, anyway she needs him to be. I'm thinking he will be real glad he played it that way.

It usually takes some dire circumstance to make someone revaluate their opinion, and it would seem to be that way for Edward's prejudice against turning Bella. I'll bet she is relieved, not only for that decision, but for clearing the air with Julian. Now all we have to do is get Bella strong again and get them engaged.

Title: Chapter 47: Chapter 47 - A Proposal
Good thing Edward reined in his usual extravagant tendencies, when it came to the proposal. It was the exact right way to do it. The gold braclet with the Cullen crest was a great gift , but I think Bella's outshone even Edward. What a cool thing to do for him, because it let's him show her Africa and what he did there while they were apart. Great story and I'm eager to read the sequel. Thanks so much!

Summary: "Go home, son. La Push is waiting for you..."
Sixty years have come and gone since Jacob decided that he and the remaining members of the pack could serve a greater purpose to the world as a whole. The Wolves of La Push became the protectors of not only the Quileutes, but of all, following a vision of freedom and everlasting life after the departure of the Cullens and ultimately, the departure of Jacob's heart.
This is the story of the warriors who never found their imprint and instead, decided to embrace the gift they had been given. Decades have passed since they followed Jacob unquestioningly out into the world, their bonds of friendship and family strengthened with every year that passed as they fought for humanity and secretly, for their Alpha's personal vendetta against vampires.
Journey with them as they find their way back to La Push, where time seems to have stopped while the rest of the nation progressed further into the future. There, on the remote beaches of the reservation, life goes on as though they had never left, and no one remains who witnessed their origins. Only the stories as told to the new generation are recalled, and could it be that theirs isn't the only one that is about to be rewritten?

Title: Chapter 2: Cry Little Sister
So, Jacob is a chauvinist wolf, (not pig), that's kind of interesting. Maybe sixty years has changed him more than we would have expected, and not in a real good way. It sounds to me as if the pack leads a fairly lonely life, even though their cause is a good one. Saving mankind from the ravages of vampires is rather noble, I think. It'll be interesting to see how they all feel about going back to La Push.

Makes me want to go to the beach, right now. Very lyrical description of a nearly perfect afternoon, especially after those jerks at school. Friends are the very best thing, aren't they? Keep giving us all this good stuff, I'm sure enjoying it, no end! Author's Response: Welcome to OWAL! As always, I'm glad to have another reader. =) Yes, sixty years is a long time, so, there's going to be times when the characters venture a little OOC. Simply to fit the way I've imagined they might have developed, for better or worse, after all those years. As for Aila, she is certainly going to be a big part of this story, and hopefully you will enjoy what I've got planned for the wolf pack and friends. =P As for the waiting period that accompanies some of the chapters to this story, I should mention that I have a very hectic schedule and finding time is sometimes more complicated than I'd like for it to be. But, the next chapter up is going to be a LONG one, and I promise that if you stick with me, I have no intention of abandoning this piece, even if I'm challenged for time and opportunity every now and again! I feel bad for Bella, thinking that she has all the necesary weaponry to combat a vampire, and vanquish him. Little does she know, even her extraordinary ability may not be much help. It makes me wonder, why has Bella never confided in her father. Maybe she's afraid he would think she'd lost her mind. Who knows?

You're welcome. I really liked this story, angst and all. It was intriguing, different and altogether satisfying. After all, Edward and Bella ended up together, forever. What is better than that?
