"Open Up Next to You" by LJ Summers. The author's reputation alone is enough of a reason to read it, but it also happens to be a wonderful story. I think my favorite quote ever from a fanfic piece is in this one. Complete.
"Trip of a Lifetime" by samekraemer. The stars at night... are big and bright... *clap clap clap clap* deep in the heart of Texas! AU-Human, canon couples, plot twists to rival "Dallas," and lemony goodness. Complete.
"The Difference Between Love and Obligation" by GreatEscape. AU-Human, mostly (and eventually) canon couples. Emotionally charged and realistic. You must read this one if you're an AU-Human fan. Complete.
"Cauchemar Vivant" by Lunar Siren. AU. A very intricate vamp-involved storyline that's not for the faint of heart. Badassery abounds. Hope it comes back from hiatus.
"Mary Alice, Full of Grace" by MissManda. Pre-Twilight AU. Love, love, love. Be forewarned that there is violence within, for those who are sensitive to such. In progress.
"A Different Kind of Love" by LauraEmily18. Sequel to New Moon AU "Broken Spirit." Some things will probably make a bit more sense of you read the prequel first, but even if you take this story on its own, you'll enjoy vampire Bella and Edward as they foster children in England. In progress.
"Roses in Winter" by WhisperingWolf. The journey taken by Angela from Weber to Cullen. You'll be angered, heartbroken, and filled with joy alternately. In progress.

Title: Chapter 9: Chapter Eight: As Long As We're Here
Wow. Bizarre encounter. Not bad bizarre, good bizarre. Hope that makes sense. These two are really gonna have to talk, and soon. So many stories have this "ships that pass in the night" thing with E&B, and while this ine's done well, the drawn-out stuff can get so frustrating to the reader! I'll definitely be back for more, though.

Title: Chapter 1: A Wedding
Aha. You hinted, but I still didn't know for sure until the very end. If that's what you'd planned, you did well. Very sweet piece.
Summary:
Bella and Jacob married young, and their life together has been much more of a challenge than Bella had anticipated. She’s battling depression and he’s increasingly frustrated that his wife is no longer the same girl he married. Bella is able to find brief moments of peace and happiness in the music she surrounds herself with. She finds particular joy in the raw and powerful music of Edward Cullen, and when she takes the opportunity to see him perform live, the pair strike up an instant friendship.
As Edward and Bella become closer, it throws her struggles in her marriage to Jacob into sharp relief, and Bella begins to daydream about being romantically involved with Edward.

I do see that was really difficult. You don't *wish* ill will upon Jacob, but yet... yeah. I get it.
It's unfair that legal documents won't record what he did to her, but unfortunately, sometimes we do not receive the justice we seek, or deserve, because that's life sometimes.
I truly hope she doesn't cave to Billy's wishes. She doesn't need to become a whirling dervish, but I hope she can find the strength to stand up for herself. Oh. Geez. I felt that last paragraph in my stomach. My older son was hospitalized with viral meningitis when he was 5 months old, and it was the most terrifying time of our lives. When is the eleventh hour for Jacob and Bella? Was it in New Moon or Eclipse? Do we have to go back to the dive off the cliff? Maybe it's after the newborn fight? Perhaps even later.

This chapter was cool, just the overall ending isn't how I thought you'd go, so it wasn't my cup of tea. Your solution felt too easy. I don't like leaving spoilers in reviews generally, so if you want me to elaborate, feel free to shoot me an email. But you write nicely and I'll look for more of your stories. Author's Response: Thanks for your review. As I've written in other reviews, I felt a happy end was necessary considering all the grief, angst and violence that prevailed throughout the story. It's not how I always end things, just how I chose to end it in this one. Not all stories are going to go in the direction a reader may interpret that it is pointing to, or where she wants it to; however, I appreciate your honesty and the fact that you feel my writing is nice, despite your personal expections of the final outcome. It shows a lot of objectivity.

Oh, geez... how awful for Jake. I don't see what the big secret is about not telling him about the Italian gang.Seems like information the wolves would like to know, but I'm sure there's a reason. Author's Response: Well, I can't tell you why Eddie won't tell him, but Bella wouldn't want to involve the wolves if she could avoid it. She would never want them to risk their lives, espcially now that the Cullens aren't even in Forks. You'll learn more about what's going on with the Volturi soon, but not the very next chapter.
