I would love to see that furniture, if you still have the links.

Great story by the way.  I really like the idea of Bella owning a bookstore.

Actually, I do remember my first kiss.  It was kinda similar to Bella's in this story.  Me and my friends were playing truth or dare, though there were only five of us and there was no drinking involved.  I got dared to kiss my friend Paul.  I did, it was sort of "whatever" for me.  I didn't feel anything.  But, after that Paul was always asking me to hang out with him and asking me if I wanted to do stuff.  I found out later that he had gotten a huge crush on me and I hadn't even realized.  I was semi-in love with his best friend at the time.

Wonderful story, by the way.  I'm really enjoying it.

Seth is indeed a little shit.  But he's sooooo cute.  Edward really pisses me off.  I really hope Bella gets her revenge soon.

This is quite possibly the most brilliant prologue to a story...ever.  There are so many seemingly talented authors out there who try to do what this chapter does.  This review, letter, blog post, or whatever the hell it is, is clever and funny.  But, not only that, it's got a feeling of authenticity to it.  Like, I feel that I could quite easily find a review/letter.blogpost/whatever on a real teenager's blogspot trashing a musician.  You can tell that Bella really looked up to Edward as an artist.  She really comes across as the sarcastically furious girl she must be.  Although most teenagers could not, I confess, pull off this type of bashing with such finess.  This first chapter is wonderfully executed and I believe I must stop reviewing now so that I stop ranting and can finish this story.

Lovely chapter.  I especially loved when you described Renee's outfit as "mile high heels," and "some utterly ridiculous Chiffon monstrocity that made her look as if she were contemplating flight."  You made high end fashion sounds completely unappealing.  It was wonderful.

Demitri's character reminds me of Lafayette from True Blood.  Have you ever seen that show?  Well, incase you haven't, Lafayette is the short order cook at the bar that the main character works at.  He's flamboyantly gay and utterly hilarious.  But it's his protective nature over Sookie and his use of the pet name "honey chile" that most reminds me of Demitri.

Over all, amazing start to what promises to be an amazing story.

I think is is wonderful how Edward refers to himself as an "immature tool," "irreverant asshole," "spoiled brat," and "ass hat," when, clearly, he is so much worse.

Quite honestly, at this point, Edward is not very appealing, which is it's own sort of accomplishment, I suppose.  Although I am sure this was your intention, I do hope that he get's his act together because, let's face it, Emmett is right.  Edward does seem the type of be found dead in a sewer somewhere is he's not careful.  And I just couldn't bear the thought of Edward dying.

Bella, in this case, and this case only, is much too good for Edward.  I'm not at all sure if this is even is love story, but, seeing as Bella and Edward were just made for each other, I am assuming it is.  Edward is an egotistical, womanizing, alcoholic.  Bella, while a bit rebellious and maybe not 100% on the whole morals thing, is at least mostly honest.

Awesome second installment.  I must perservere.

Emmett has always been one of my favorite characters.  But, I've never really liked Rose.  She is almost always written as a stuck-up bitch.  And, even though she is still a stuck-up bitch in this story, It's the first time I've really ever seen someone give Rose some dimension.  I comend you.
