Summary: Bella's family is attacked by vampires when she is young, leaving her the sole survivor. Rescued by Dr Carlisle Cullen, she is adopted into his 'vegetarian' family, consisting of him, his wife Esme and their three sons Emmett, Edward and Jasper. Struggling with her trauma, Bella finds herself developing special bonds with each of the Cullen boys.
This story has no Alice or Rosalie (or at least, not as vampires or Cullens).

Summary:

WOW... As I sit here crying.. Not much to say other than that. Author's Response: It was a very intense chapter to write. I actually took a very long break between parts one and two because it was kind of draining. I'm both sorry and happy that I was able to produce such a strong emotional reaction from you when you read it. If it makes you feel any better I cried too! *hands Rizzo a tissue* Hope that helps!

The Cullens have suffered the tragedy that they knew, at the end of Breaking Dawn, would find them eventually. Now, in their second year without Alice, Edward and Bella, they find themselves with the chance to be healed.
Angela Weber is a senior at university in Vancouver. One day, while working at a bookstore to pay her rent, she sees someone she remembers from school in Forks. But he didn't have a daughter, and this tall man with curly, blond hair didn't have a daughter in Forks. The man at the store was with an angelic little girl with wide brown eyes and copper curls.
When Nessie connects with her mother's best human friend, Angela sets out to be the friend that she knows the little girl needs. Desperately.
Then, without warning, Angela builds a connection to the other Cullen who has been hurt the most. Jasper. She wants him to laugh again.
With her help, he will. He may even love again.
