I am enjoying this story very much. After only one chapter I can tell that this is a well written, thoughtful work. I have been getting a bit tired of most of the fanfiction I have been reading lately. It is so refreshing to read something with real substance. Loving it! What a pleasant surprise to see another chapter so soon. The vase scene was very well done. I like the way Edward is slowly letting down his guard. But not too soon. Love the angst. It took years of abuse to get to this place and it isn't easy for him to really let go and trust. Well done. Looking forward to the sleep over!

No, this is amazing. Just like Bella couldn't tell anyone about James and wanted to protect the ones she loved, your Edward is not saying anything in order to protect his love and to somehow atone for his perceived "sin' of not protecting his Mother. This is really good! I also love the Math stuff. I am married to a Math teacher and the scenes remind me of when we were in college together when we first met and he helped me just like that to pass my math clesses. We have been married for 29 years and he's always been my only love! Thanks for this great story. Loving it!

I loved this so much. The whole house thing and the cemetary and everything. You must have had some tragedy in your life to have written it so right. I lost both of my parents in a car accident when I was 9 and the layers of healing are so complicated. You were able to take Edward through this part of his healing process quickly for the story's sake but you didn't miss the important things. You have a gift for evoking the emotion necessary to communicate what the characters are experiencing. Thank you for the sensitivity you write with and attention to what is true to the nature of your characters. I would have loved to see some resolution with the Mike thing too. Maybe something will come to you if you write from Mike's POV. I'm not ready to let go of this story yet so whatever you write, I will read. Bless you!
