Summary: Edward Masen is a former NFL football player who was injured and could not return to playing. After taking some time off to figure out what he wanted to do with his life, since playing football was out of the question, he decided to go with coaching high school football. He leads a simple, quiet life with his friends in Forks until he meets the woman that will change his life forever. Bella Swan decides to move back home with her younger brother when she gets a teaching position at her old school in Forks. AH/Canon Couples/alternating between Edward and Bella POV. Rated M ;)

liked it a lot! although i didn't get why edward ran away, is not like he don't know how she feels, she told him right before the kiss, well not exactly told him, but he should know

Do you like stories where Bella is sweet and kind and mature beyond her years? And when she and Edward meet they fall in love immediately and have lots of smexy times? And Jake is their dog?
If yes, then this is NOT the story for you.
But if like stories where Bella is insecure, moody, argumentative and occasionally thoughtless, or stories where Bella is kind of involved with both Edward and Jacob at the same time and dealing poorly with the situation - then you might like this story.
Here's what it's about:
Bella has just started her freshman year at Yale after taking a year off between high school and college. She is trying to balance her relationship with her long distance boyfriend, Jacob, while making friends at school and dealing with her classes. She is also trying to manage the problem that caused her to take the year off before starting college.
And then she gets a ride from a Yalie named Edward Cullen . . .

your story is amazing, never read anything like it, the setting is great, i mean, not happy about people getting killed and injustice, what i'm saying is that is very refreshing to se something new. love what you've done with the characters. this definitely deserves more reviews. Author's Response: thank you, fonsy! that's so kind. yes... for whatever reason the reviews have been much slower on twilighted. i love this site, which is why i post here as well, but the fanfiction dot net version of "volition" seems to get a lot more exposure... don't know why.
