Wow! Thank you so much for your review! Interesting response this week...pretty much one spectrum or the other, so I’m going to do a brief clarification for all. The reason why I’m doing such an in-depth mass review reply to all is simply because my time is short this week, but I want everyone to get the teasers in a timely matter! When Bella spoke about her arrangement with Jane, it was purely for sex. She drank, wound up in bed with her agent, who happened to be a woman, and then felt guilty, by her own admission. Though the arrangement continued, it wasn’t about love or commitment, it was about sex. Bella’s greatest fear had been to turn into her mother---sex with Jane ensured that wouldn’t and couldn’t happen. She was never in a committed relationship, and she didn’t turn Edward down because he was a guy. She did it because she commanded more respect. Bella with Jane was simply a friends with benefits type of deal, and really, no different than if she’d chosen a friends with benefits arrangement with a guy. She only called herself “maybe bi”, because she willingly had sex with a member of the opposite sex. However, I can tell you, in her head, she sees marriage, commitment, family...etc, with a man. Edward stood a chance until he showed himself to be a mama’s boy, and why, he now stands a chance again. She saw Jane as a means to “get off”, not introduce to her son and settle down with...that is Edward’s territory.

Sorry if this chapter wasn’t as clear as I had intended to be, and why, Bella’s confession was pretty low key. It’ll be talk about slightly more in coming chapters, but overall, it is simply what it is. I chose very specific words for a reason, and have heard/seen several people assume things I never intended, which is why I’m writing this out to all. This will end as a Edward and Bella story, this is just the story of how they get there. A few have wondered if there will be any femslash exploration in BI, the answer is no. If enough people want a B&Jane outtake I’ll consider it, but it’ll be an old school outtake from several years prior!

Now, onto the good stuff, I’m around, busy getting RL stuff done and then I’ll be hard core into writing. We’re actually slowly coming to the end of BI, and though that makes me sad, I’m excited too. It’s time for our favorite family of three to have some happiness in their lives!

Voting is still going on for the Shimmer Awards and BI is up for Best Tear Jerker.

I wrote a KPOV of Tanya’s death for the Floods for Australia, more info next update about how to buy their compilation, but here is a small teaser:

“It starts with a fidget and then a pull. A pull turns to a blink as she becomes aware.

“Hello, Tanya,” I sneer as she comes to.

“What are you doing here?” she whispers hoarsely.

“I came to, decompress,” I reply...my voice a honey sweet sound.

“Why am I tied up?” She began to panic. She pulls, but it’s no use. I did grow up in Alaska, camping and fishing were my thing, and nothing she could do was going to pull them loose.

“So you can’t run away,” I answer with a duh expression to my face.

“What do you want?” she asks once she’s done pulling.”

Now, onto the Chapter 23 teaser, update in a week or so :)

“What do we tell him?” she asks after Nathan walks away.

“The truth?” I question back with a shrug.

Bella and I, had spent too much time agonizing about how to break the news to Nathan. We weren’t sure how he would react, and the last thing either one of us wanted to see, was the re-appearance of Jimmy...who, thus far, had been kept at bay since Christmas.

“What do you mean you’re moving?” Charlie asked. His face went rigid and his shoulders tensed.

“Dad, I know this may be upsetting, but we need to do this,” Bella pleaded with him to understand. If either one of us could see rebuilding our lives here in Forks, we’d do it in a heartbeat, but the truth was we needed a clean start.

“Did I do this?” Charlie muttered under his breath. His eyes looked lost as he stared at Bella, and for the first time ever, I felt bad for him.

I have a soft spot for Rose. I know she's pretty mean but... I kinda like that about her :)

She did get out! Yes, she's staying out. Alice is sticking around - and we'll find out about Edward really soon :)

He's feeling a little inadaquate, a little put-out. But he's also relieved that Bella is getting better :)
