I won't say how old I am - just to say I feel young at heart! After reading Twilight for the first time, I couldn't put it down - in fact I have read the books countless times! I think it took me back to that breathy, shaky torment of first love which we know can't last, but will always remember. I fell madly in love with Edward, and have never looked back!
I have a 21 year old son away at university and a lovely husband who tolerates my obsession with good grace - in fact he bought me my beautiful Twilight journals and a calendar last Christmas. He just wishes I could get paid for writing!
I have never thought about writing fanfic until reading "Dark Side of the Moon" by Blondie and coming across this site. I decided to have a go, and "Eclipse Missing Moments" is my first attempt.
I wasn't sure if I could write any original stories, but eventually had a go with Picking Up The Pieces. It almost didn't see the light of day when it was rejected, as I didn't see the tiny mark against grammer, and thought it was wholly unsuitable. Thankfully I went back and re-read the email, made some corrections and resubmitted it. It is to date the most successful story (as far as reviews are concerned) that I have done.

You're right, it IS a relief, although it does mean the story is nearing closure, which is always a sad thing when it's been this enjoyable. Well done, though. I'm glad Peyton wasn't there to be traumatised.

That went a lot better than I thought it would! I think Alice realises that there is an attraction there, and Seth too, although he is more concerned about Bella being hurt I think.

Xavier is being a total twat! Rose is right, he should just be happy that Bella is happy. I hope Seth puts him in his place. I'm also quite keen to know some more of Jasper's story too.
As for B&E, well, you didn't disappoint. The sexual energy obviously got too much for both of them. Now we just need to get that conversation out of the way. I'm really hoping that she will be able to look beyond it really quickly.

Thank you for covering everything. I don't think I could bear a cliffie. My heart was racing and I was desperate to keep reading this chapter. Even though I knew it was coming, and I know you wouldn't kill him off, it was still awful. I can't imagine having to go through that worry and stress, never knowing if the ones you love were going to make it home.

Great stuff - again. He'll hate how it starts, but he'll love how it progresses.
When I started getting very serious with my now-husband, unbeknown to me he was reading my diary. I was putting all sorts of things in there about our relationship and my thoughts. I wrote in there that I loved him long before I actually said it. He finally admitted it to me when we were lazing in the bath one evening and, at first, I was mortified. Looking back, it probably helped in lots of ways. He wouldn't have been so open if he hadn't read my words, and he could also gauge how the relationship was progressing. When he did something I didn't like, he knew without me having to tell him to his face.
Sometimes I feel like starting up again, just so I could get some thoughts across without nagging or moaning!!
