I won't say how old I am - just to say I feel young at heart! After reading Twilight for the first time, I couldn't put it down - in fact I have read the books countless times! I think it took me back to that breathy, shaky torment of first love which we know can't last, but will always remember. I fell madly in love with Edward, and have never looked back!
I have a 21 year old son away at university and a lovely husband who tolerates my obsession with good grace - in fact he bought me my beautiful Twilight journals and a calendar last Christmas. He just wishes I could get paid for writing!
I have never thought about writing fanfic until reading "Dark Side of the Moon" by Blondie and coming across this site. I decided to have a go, and "Eclipse Missing Moments" is my first attempt.
I wasn't sure if I could write any original stories, but eventually had a go with Picking Up The Pieces. It almost didn't see the light of day when it was rejected, as I didn't see the tiny mark against grammer, and thought it was wholly unsuitable. Thankfully I went back and re-read the email, made some corrections and resubmitted it. It is to date the most successful story (as far as reviews are concerned) that I have done.

It's nice to know that Renee wasn't a total cow, and that there were underlying reasons for her leaving. Now both Charlie and Bella can get some closure. Author's Response: I wanted Bella to at least get some kind of answers. Her and Charlie never really talked about her mom after she left them, so it was hard for her to remember much about her. Well done - although I really think Bella had some good points and I would have hauled Edward's ass a lot more! There was no excuse for him calling in a lawyer, or leaving her after sex.
I love that they were going to have another baby though. Author's Response: LOL. I can't disagree with you; had I planned on making it longer at the time I probably would have made Edward pay a bit more. There is no excuse for what he did, but I think if I write more, he'll try to explain himself. :)

What can I say? Marvellous, as usual. I'm glad about Evan in a way. I didn't want him to be the love of her life. I can also see why Charlie and Emmett would feel the guilt too.
Yes, I do want to see Peyton's reaction to Edward being around, but I also want a bit more time for them to process everything that's happened.
