Fantastic chapter, Sam!
Of course I am thrilled they are finally together again - though I know they have more to get through to be fully healed and ready to go forward. These "complications" that ended their marriage - Edward's job, this "Hayley" (their child? please not another woman) and his getting shot? I think Bella will have a return of memories before he can tell her the truth.
Too funny the way they got caught in the end. I guess the cat's out of the bag now! ;)

Title: Chapter 19: Chapter 19 - Goodbyes & Revelations
I've read the entire 19 chapters in the past two days thanks to a tip from Kari (kstabb) who knows what I like .. and I like this very much!!
I have so many questions I hardly know where to start - maybe I'd best save them for the thread. My main focus right now is this - Edward HAS to be honest with Bella about their past! I am hoping "Hayley" is a child they lost (though that would be awfully sad) and not someone he cheated with. I don't think he would have done that - he was wrecked over Jordan and as he said, he had every right as they were divorced at the time. His final words to Bella the night she left him were *awful* ... did he mean them? Or was he pulling a New Moon?
Definitely don't trust James ... something's not right there. And Liam is an interesting character - might we see more of him? He mad too strong an impression not to reappear. Maybe he can light a fire under Edward's ass ... if E realized Bella has someone interested in her. If she thinks Edward sees her only as a friend AND that he's a free agent when it comes to other women, she won't understand what really exists between them.
GAH! So much in this story to love! I really can't wait for more!! Author's Response: Thank you, thank you for your super review. Wow..where to begin? Ok, the night Bella left was really an emotional time for both of them and due to that, anything said might have been blown out of proportion. I agree that he needs to come clean, but you can appreciate the dilemma he is finding himself in - tell her and lose her or keep my trap shut and hopefully win her...all hard choices. As for Hayley, I would love to comment but I can't LOL.
I am half way through chapter 20 now, so hopefully another chapter will be coming your way soon. Again, thanks a million for your support.

Title: Chapter 23: Chapter 23 - What A Tangled Web We Weave
Gosh I missed this story! What a fantastic chapter, Dragon!
So I know Edward "asked" for this, but I still felt really badly for him. He was trying to protect Bella, but as usual (and totally in canon) he made decisions for them both, not taking into consideration how those decisions might affect them both.
And now I'm confused about Liam - I *really* liked him (not that I want him to win lol!) but now I am nervous about what he's up to. I hope he's not a bad guy ... from the glimpses you've given us, he doesn't seem to be. There's been no hint of an ulterior motive. Maybe he was just putting pieces together about Bella and Edward? Maybe he found an article about Bella's attack?

Title: Chapter 20: Chapter 20 - Provocation
Wow, that was an incredible update! The scene with Jake was intense - I really thought Edward was going to kill him! Jacob is totally pulling Edward's strings right now. I am devastated to think Edward is going to push Bella away to protect her. She will be absolutely crushed. She already feels so vulnerable where he is concerned. And something tells me it won't matter if he tries to pretend Bella means nothing to him, she will still be a target. They went after her before when they were divorced for goodness sakes!

Title: Chapter 22: Chapter 22 - Lessons
YES! I absolutely loved this chapter, Dragon!!
First of all, the part with Peter was so heartbreaking, but beautifully written. It really showed what a kind and gentle soul Bella is. Second of all, I am LOVING Liam! I love that you gave us a little of his pov and he is so smitten with Bella! I obviously hope for a B&E HEA but I really don't mind her having a little fun with Liam - he can make her feel wanted and happy and all those things Edward can't seem to do for her right now.
And speaking of Edward - I do feel bad for him, but the boy made his bed and now he's going to lie in it - all alone, wondering if Bella's moving on. Maybe a little more of this jealousy and he'll rethink his master plan ...
Now, as for this mystery person watching Bella (over whom he apparently obsesses) from a distance ... I'm thinking maybe James? It's someone who's had time to know her and admire her from a distance. He makes me very afraid ... and I am going to put my plea in now that he NOT kill Liam! I would hate to see that lovely man pay for his interest in Bella (and think how guilty she'd feel)!
Anyhoo, whatever you do I'll love it - thank you for another awesome chapter, and thank you too for the shout-out! (I feel famous lol!)

Title: Chapter 21: Chapter 21 - The Things We Do....
Oh my gosh, that was so painful! So very heartbreaking to read. I can't believe he actually did it! I kept thinking, "He's going to change his mind, when he realizes she remembers and has feelings for him, he'll think of another plan. He can't want to hurt her this way ..."
Oh, Bella ... while I feel badly for Edward (I recognize he's trying to protect her), I feel so much worse for you. Though your last thoughts hint at a strength I hope you can find within yourself ... what will you do - where will you go - now?
And of course I'm all the more afraid for her because Edward's not fooling anyone but Bella. His love for her is unmistakable. But Bella is going to separate herself from him in order to find peace and move on ... and then he won't be near her, or be able to protect her when the time comes.
I am SO looking forward to the next chapter - will be on pins and needles till you post!

Title: Chapter 24: Chapter 24 - Gravity
Oh noes! That could have gone so differently if he had just TALKED to her as well as - or even better, BEFORE - kissing her! Of COURSE she got the wrong idea - he has her convinced he doesn't love her ... I think she thinks he just doesn't want anyone else to have her. Poor Bella, so in the dark ...
Interesting twist with Liam - so glad he's a good guy, and SO glad he didn't get killed - but I really don't want Bella to go/be with him. As sweet as he is, he's not the one for her ... and I think Edward would just self-destruct if that were to happen.
As for the mystery pov - the evil stalker guy - NO idea who that is (James?) but he's obviously going to be trouble at some point very soon.
Sam, this was a fantastic update and I cannot wait to see what happens next! Thanks for the shout-out too - I always feel kind of famous when you do that! :)

Sam, what a brilliant chapter! So many answers to our questions, including the biggest one of all - who is (was) Hayley?!
I wonder if Bella will remember the dream when she wakes up? And if so, how will she react? Was Edward away (working) when the accident happened and that's why he blamed himself? Then he withdrew and their marriage fell apart?
He had better plan to talk with Bella the moment she wakes up ... she needs the whole truth from *him* not anyone else and not her own mind. I wonder if this will trigger her lost memories?

Title: Chapter 27: Chapter 27 - The Domino Effect
Holy crap, Sam!! I knew it! As soon as I read he was in a knife "attack" and had been moved to a hospital I knew he'd escape! I don't know how it happened and who all was involved but Jacob is out and I would bet my bottom dollar he's making a beeline for Bella. And oh gosh, she's so unprotected right now ...
This was a fantastic chapter - I especially loved the conversation with Carlisle and the flashbacks to Edward's reaction to the accident. Now we know what drove them apart. He basically abandoned Bella after the crash and I think she definitely felt he blamed her - even hated her for it. Oh my goodness, and what if she remembers this all on her own?!
Looking forward to chapter 28, Sam - take your time and let yourself heal. You know we'll wait for you whenever you're ready. :)

Sam, I'm not sure why my first review didn't "take" but I wanted you to know I loved this chapter - even though it's scaring the pants off me! SO many worries, so much foreshadowing. Alice's fears have me teetering on the edge of heartfail - I just KNOW it will go down as she sees it, and Bella will just shatter. And it will be like Hayley's death all over again ...
I'm still not sure exactly WHO is stalking Bella and who tried to kill her (someone working for Jacob?) but I KNOW Jake is bad news and Bella is not safe at all with him at large.
Glad to hear you are recuperating bb - please know we will wait patiently for you and for this story to unfold. I look forward to your next chapter and whatever it brings!

Oh Sam, what a fantastic chapter! This sure is one tangled web! Thankfully Jacob Black is dead - although his death does not relieve our fears for Bella! Who is this person stalking her? I thought for sure it was James, but now I just don't know ... I'm going to have to go back and reread and look for clues. I'm trying to think who else it could be - I hope it's not Liam!
The reunion was beautiful - the way they made love was sexy but so tender. I am still fearing the moment when she remembers about Hayley - I don't think Edward is going to tell her in time and that will be an awful feeling of betrayal for Bella.
So nervous to see how this all wraps up!

I loved the date, but I'm glad you got back to the angst there at the end. (I'm such a sucker for angst, lol.) Poor Bella - I was hoping Edward would have the chance to show her that he really desires her in the same way (thereby alleviating her shame) but maybe in the next chapter? I'm afraid his rejection will only magnify the feelings that James creates in her.
And speaking of James - what a creep! Is he watching her? Is he planning her harm? Edward needs to find out what's going on somehow, because I have a feeling Bella will try to keep it from him. I also have a feeling she'll need all the help she can get.

Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 - The Circus
Loved the Cullen family encounter - perfectly awkward and yet funny at the same time. Edward is so confusing! No wonder Bella is going crazy around him. I am dying to know what he thought about the phone call AND about Bella "attacking" him. (Though I would guess from how he just launched himself at her in his room, he was not too put off by her forwardness.)
Great job on this story - I can't wait for your next chapter! Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it! I enjoyed writing it, for sure. Yeah, Eddo tends to overanalyze everything, and in his own mind his actions make perfect sense. I don't think he realizes that from the outside, he just comes as being nuts. As far as Bella's wanna-be molestation... you know he loved it! :D
