Title: Chapter 6: Bright like the Sun
Oh, wow, I loved this chapter!
OK, so now I'm thinking that Edward IS human, but is sun allergy his only issue? Carlisle was so nervous and Rosalie was so angry. What is up with this family?
At least now that he's talking he seems very normal. Cute and sexy even. :) I like it that Bella is mostly unaffected so far. It will be fun to watch her fall for him. He seems to be somewhat taken with her - maybe? - or is that just wishful thinking?

Carlisle is confused, because he doesn't understand why Edward was paying attention to her when he ignores most people. Rosalie was angry, because Edward put himself in danger for someone he doesn't really know.
He's paying a bit more attention then he was at the start, yes.
Summary: 
Bella Swan is a student at Dartmouth, with a self esteem less secure than a kid riding seatbeltless in her '53 Chevy. Fresh from an impromptu year off, she begins her junior year as an art student with a less-than-enthusiastic outlook on her hold on life. What happens when just as she thinks she's in control of her student career, the one person she thinks is gone for good begins to play an even bigger role in her life than she'd ever imagined?
Edward is a bit OOC, but I love him the way he is.
...i anticipate some later chapters that will earn the rating, but i hope to keep it classy through and through...

LOVED it! I really like what's unfolding here. :)
I would love to read some flashbacks from Bella and Prof. Cullen's past. His POV would be awesome, too. I have a feeling he "hated" her because he was so distracted by how much he wanted her. Maybe he felt it was forbidden b/c of the student-teacher thing?
Great reveal by Alice that Edward was waiting for Bella at the bus stop. This gives me reason to hope ...

This was a great chapter, getting more of a feel for the relationships and where everybody stands. I love the chemistry between Bella and Edward, but I'm a little confused as to their status. Are they "together" now - or once were?

Yes, the E/B 'ship is just as muddled as everyone else's, though you should get more of a feel for their backstory in the next chapter. :) They're the first ones to come clean! Title: Chapter 3: The New Kid
I really like your story! It's so refreshing that Bella is not completely smitten with Edward as usual. Especially when, as in this story, he is so hung up on Tanya. It's interesting that all he really knows about Tanya is her looks - and that's what he's basing his crush on. I hope he develops a little crush on Bella too before long. :)

Summary: 
Being a teenage pariah is never easy, but for Edward Cullen it's especially difficult. Then again, anyone would find being a mind-reader at the age of seventeen a little more than challenging.

Great chapter! I'm really enjoying your story. To answer a few of your questions:
I think Edward's dream meant that he is replacing Tanya with Bella as the object of his dreams (both literal and figurative) and eventual affections. I'm not sure about the symbolism of the water. Haven't had enough coffee yet to figure out that one!
I'm not sure why exactly Edward decided to kiss Bella so suddenly - I was thinking it was just an impulse. But maybe he wanted to see if there was something there between them and decided to test it with a kiss?
I think the "Ja-" is either Jacob or James ... and there's a story there (obviously).
Jasper and Alice ... hmmm. It might just be that they declared themselves to each other, but I'm betting there was some physical stuff, too.
Don't belong to Myspace, sorry ... would have loved that sneak peek ... but here I am reviewing this excellent story!

WOW! What a great chapter! I loved the introduction of Bella and Edward - though I was a tad disappointed he wasn't more attracted to her. I love the reveal that Jasper has designs on her - that should play out interestingly. Can't wait to hear Alice's plan!

You really have me guessing about Edward's true feelings here. I *think* he is attracted to Bella, even though he keeps saying he doesn't feel that way. I think he's trying to tell himself that, but his reactions to her point otherwise.

Well this story just keeps getting better and better! I loved this chapter!
I love it that Mike, though obviously friendly towards Bella, is smitten with Jessica. I like the way you wrote Tanya - she's not evil, but pretty shallow and simple. No real threat to Bella there (I think). And I LOVED Rosalie here - that was perfect!
But Edward and Bella are the best. I love the sweet genuine attraction and fondness they seem to have for each other. I can't wait to see their relationship unfold.

And so the "friendship" begins and the romantic tension builds ... that scene in the den was perfect. I love how affected he is by her and I really wish we knew what was going on in his head! I am fully convinced that he is strongly attracted to Bella and it's making him anxious - more than usual. I love the tidbits you give us at the end each chapter ... I am guessing the disapproving stare is coming from Edward? I hope seeing Bella with Jacob doesn't deter him too much - in fact, it would be great if it compelled him into action, lol!

This chapter was wonderful - I'm glad you didn't make Jacob an out-and-out bad guy. I do hope Edward is not too upset with Bella and I hope he continues to open up to her. I can't wait to know what happened to/with him in the past!

I absolutely LOVED this chapter! Even though their actual interaction was brief, it was so good to hear them each thinking similar thoughts about the other. Edward's feelings for Bella are so strong! I can't wait to see what changes this brings about in him.
And when they met in the street, that was so lovely! He waited for her, nervously, and then shared a book with her - so very sweet and a wonderful step forward for them.
I also have to mention I was surprised at how gentle and friendly James seemed to be. He didn't seem to have any agenda and that makes me wonder if he's not the bad guy I assumed he'd be. Interesting ...
