Summary:
Bella meets Edward when he picks up his nephew from her Pre-K class and the sparks fly. As their feelings for each other grow, Edward has a prior commitment that he is convinced must be seen through. A commitment that is effectively keeping them apart. Are there some complications that even the strongest hearts can't overcome? Can they resist the one thing they can't have--Each other?
To get to the prize, they'll have to survive the temptation of one another, in this emotional waiting game.

Title: Chapter 3: Vegas
Oh I really dislike this Edward! What an absolute jerk. I hope we get a good look at how he's felt about these five years and I hope he's been truly miserable without Bella! I hope he hates his life (especially Tanya) and wishes he could go back in time to change things. (Can you tell I'm bitter for Bella, lol?)
I am looking forward to this summer camp experience. I REALLY hope Bella meets someone there that will make her feel wanted and good about herself. And of course I hope she does end up crossing paths with Edward and making him realize what he lost.

Title: Chapter 2: IOU One Galaxy
Ooh, more angst. Yowch. I'm glad you told us that was most of it, because I really need this story to be in a different place SOON. :)
I was honestly hoping the picture was just a mistake - maybe photoshopped or something. But he really was having an affair? And yet he claims Bella is his life? His LOVE? Oh my. He's not just a jerk but he's a dumb*** too. It will be very hard to like this Edward down the line.
But I trust that you will bring us back, though. I really like your writing and story premise. I would LOVE it if you were to jump ahead a bit so we can see Bella moved on and whole. I know she ends this chapter saying her life was over, but she's so young. I hope she can get over this and heal. I hope she meets someone who worships her and she grows strong and confident.
But mostly, I hope Edward realizes what an absolute A** he was (to Bella and in general). I hope he grows up, I hope he realizes what he lost and I hope he PINES for Bella for the rest of his days!!!
Then I hope you throw them back together and the tables have turned - HA!

Title: Chapter 4: Eyesore
Another great chapter, moving us along in the story. (The beginning was so harsh I'm really eager to move on in the story, lol!)
Well, of course Edward is back! But the question is, what is HIS take on the situation. What are his feelings toward Bella, the breakup and his pathetic life as it is now? I REALLY hope he is miserable. I know he probably won't show that to the world but I hope inside he is heartbroken and miserable without her.
I am looking forward to meeting this James! I really like James as a character, even though very often he is portrayed the bad guy. I hope your James is a good guy (sounds like he is) and I would LOVE it if he secretly loved Bella and makes a move on her this summer. (Take that, Edward!)

Title: Chapter 5: When The Day Met The Night
Holy Smokes, that was a FANTASTIC chapter!! What the heck happened there at the end? I'm guessing the guy in the hoodie was Edward? I hope it was! The whole time Bella and the gang were having fun I kept thinking I wish Edward could see this that a**hole. So he must have, then bought them beer and left all sad.
But where did the blood come from? Did Bella hit him?

Title: Chapter 6: Something Left To Give
This is one of those stories that the SECOND it updates I drop whatever I'm doing and read. It's so good and I can tell things are just getting going.
First of all, I love it that Tanya's such an idiot. It makes it so much easier to hate her and it will make Bella look all the better in Edward's eyes. If he ever opens them, that is. What a jerk - he'd leave his life with Bella for someone like her? (I know it wasn't Tanya in the beginning but I'm guessing this is his "type" now.)
Have I asked you if we're going to get an epov? I really want to know what he's thinking. I hope he realizes what he lost when he cheated on Bella and I hope in this story he tries very HARD to get her back. I'm so glad she has Phil and all their friends to support her and watch her back. (She'll need it with Tanya around.)
I also hope Bella has someone else show interest in her - I'd like her to feel wanted again.

Title: Chapter 7: A Praise Chorus
That was so sad! I was expecting James to play a big part in the story, too. Like maybe a potential love interest for Bella. i wonder how his death is going to influence the story?
LOVED the part with Edward. I love it that he is miserable and knows EXACTLY what he lost. Maybe if he got rid of the skank in his life he might have a real chance to improve himself, get back to his roots as he says. I got the feeling he was looking at Bella and realizing how beautiful she is and how very different Tanya is from her.
Maybe Edward will try to comfort Bella next chapter?
Is there a Twilighted thread for this story? It really needs to be discussed! :)

Title: Chapter 8: View From Heaven
Oh my gosh, this was so sad, but very realistic and well written. I'm sorry for your own loss, vix - what a hard chapter for you to write.
At the end when Edward approached her I was torn. On the one hand, I am glad he wanted to comfort her - and that she allowed him to - but on the other hand I thought it was rich him asking her who's being strong for her. Well, Edward, it SHOULD be YOU, but you left her all those years ago. And now she's alone. After you finish letting her cry on your shoulder she'll go back to being alone and you'll go back to your skank.
I hope this was a wake up call for Edward. Life is too short to waste.

Title: Chapter 9: The Rock Show
Wow! I've missed your story, vix! I am so surprised at Edward being so bold. He MUST have designs on Bella again because no way would he do this otherwise - it would just be plain mean to act this way - attentive, flirtatious, protective -unless you wanted back into someone's life, especially if that someone was your ex-wife whom you devastated by choosing fame and other women instead of her.
Will he announce his intentions to Bella? If he does have them he HAS to dump Tanya. He wasn't with her at the concert but next time Bella sees them together it will be all the more painful after his recent behavior. That boy has some deep hurt to make up for.
I love your Bella by the way - I'm so glad she turned away at the end there. She really needs to make him work for this. He shouldn't expect to slide back into her life so easily ... in fact - and this might be mean - but I'd love it for Bella to have someone else for a bit. Someone to make Edward sweat it - at least while he's still with Tanya.

Edward is being bold, but I can't tell you exactly what his intentions are right now. He's more confused that he may seem. Right now, he's trying to say things through actions, gestures, ect, because he feels he always gets the words wrong (Bella's always been better with words - but he was trying with that text message).
I'm glad you like my Bella :) I'm not saying anything about whether or not another guy is coming into the picture for Edward to sweat over, but I will say that Bella's mindset about being okay as just her is very important to her - she'll make Edward sweat all on her own, if she has to ;)

It's funny, Edward's is the first male POV I've ever written where I felt completely comfortable with it. I've written fanfic in other fandoms before, but I very, very rarely wrote anything from a male POV. Eddie-boy's fairly easy, though, thank god. So I'm glad you're liking him!
I'm hoping to get most of the next chapter written over the weekend, so hopefully I'll be able to update sometime next week.
