So, I've been living under a rock for quite awhile... I finally read Twilight just before the movie was released on DVD. I couldn't put it down and when I finished, I thought to myself "Where have I been?" I'm grateful it took me a little bit to catch on though, as I never would have had the patience to wait for the subsequent books to be released. I ended up reading the entire saga within a week. Completley consumed with obsession, I went on to reread the series several times until I discovered....FANFICTION!!! It consumes a little too much of my time to be considered healthy, but that's okay- my husband and two kiddos will just have to deal. So I love reading your stories, and hopefully one day soon, I'll find the courage to write my own!

Summary:
Bella transfers to the University of Washington and lives in a dorm with the Twilight usuals. The incredibly beautiful guy with the coppery-bronze hair is such a jerk when their lives first collide, but they cannot ignore the fact that they are drawn to each other. However, Bella has a boyfriend back home and Edward doesn't plan to get involved. A terrible experience has made him reluctant to form any attachments. But sometimes you find what you didn't even know you were looking for.
A little angst and lots of romance. Humor with a nosy Emmett, Rose, Jasper and Alice. Add a potential stalker. Top it all off with undeniable sexual tension and eventually some very hot sexy-times. BPOV and EPOV

Title: Chapter 7: Chapter 7: You Call That Dancing?
Ugh! So tired of Jake dragging Bella down- she needs to lose him ASAP. Stupid Mike. And I think Edward might stay a little clueless for awhile longer. He's noticing little signs here and there, but I don't think he's going to put it together or figure out what it means for a little while. Author's Response: I skipped this review, so here's my response now. Jake is dead weight. But Bella won't see that yet. She will. Be patient. Edward is so very reserved about this whole ordeal. Jake is annoying. Edward has a past- wonder what is bothering him? Please switch the roommates, I am dying for Bella! It brings back scary college memories. On chapter 6! Author's Response: You are right, Jake is annoying! Edward will tell his backstory when he is ready--it will be soon.

Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Starting to Squirm
I was starting to wonder why Alice and Bella didn't just approach the witches and suggest a switch, as they clearly would have gone for it, but all the scheming and plotting is so much more fun! Can't wait to see if Edward gets all protective at the BBQ/dance. Author's Response: Sorry for skippinng this review earlier. If Alice and Bella did this the easy way, there would be very little involvement with others. And that would mean no story, so no romantic linking between our characters. So Alice and Bella decided they'd do this the hard, yet entertaining way.

Stupid cock-blocking Jake! Bella seems like a smart girl, hope she gets rid of him soon. It's so cute how Edward and Bella are getting closer though :) Author's Response: Bella is a smart girl, but she is also loyal. To a fault. But, okay, she'll get her act in gear eventually. It's entertaining how Bella and Edward are forced to be together because the only other people they hang out with are already couples. They are each other's date by default. Cracks me up. But they are cute, aren't they? And they're only going to get cuter.

Title: Chapter 9: Chapter 9: Restless Night
Wow, I'm really loving your story! The character and plot development are both so intricate and detailed, the story is moving along really smoothly. I am amazed at how reflective and perceptive Edward and Bella appear to be.
The college life details are so accurate, I find myself reliving my own college memories! I loved living in the dorm, eating at the dining hall or snack bar, and all the events on campus. Good times :)
So, just to be clear- people actually spend time involved in other hobbies and activities besides fanfiction? I wasn't aware such things existed! LOL... My name is Heather and I am a fanficaholic! My apologies to my husband and children, I'm sure I'll stop neglecting you one of these days! haha Author's Response: WOW! Thanks for the Storylove! I'm the Queen of Wordy, so that's why there's intricate/detailed/wordy character & plot development. Really, you have no idea!There's lots of reflection/operception/wordiness :) in this little fic.
The college life details are so accurate, because they are my college life! I had Victoria for a roommate, only her name was Liz; Laura was my Alice and Bill was my Edward, Jim was my Jake. (And no, none of them sparkled.) Wait until the room switch and you'll read how my room was decorated! :)

Now, as to your last comment, I've HEARD of other people being involved in things in their daily life that were not fan-fiction related, I've just never spoken to them personally because I'm too busy in my fan-fic-world. And Heather, it will make your husband and children stronger if they have to fend for themselves because you are glued to a screen reading a fan-fic.

Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10: Cookies Anyone?
It's amazing how one can simultaneously be over-analytical and in denial. Interesting combo for these two! I feel badly for Bella and her loyalty to Jake, but being with someone who doesn't support her goals isn't going to last long. I hope she doesn't prolong the inevitable. Very curious to learn about Edward's past. What's the status on Victoria and Lauren? Hope they are back for the next chapter. Great job! Author's Response: So smart and yet so dumb! So near and yet so far! So Edward and yet so Bella.
Edward's past will be divulged. He'll tell Bella as soon as he thinks it's important for her to know.
Victoria and Lauren are coming back a little, but mostly it was just important for everyone to feel bad for Bella for being such a nice girl stuck with such a bitch.

I only feel a tiny little bit sorry for him that his concerns are spot-on, but he certainly isn't helping his case with his behavior. Title: Chapter 16: Chapter 16: It's Not Always a Picnic
Oh, finally the big reveal! I feel so bad for Edward that he had to deal with something so traumatic. Hmmmm- wonder why he wants to pursue in mental health? It's almost like Bella is healing and therapeutic for him. It's so meant to be, except for that same problem that's been hanging around for 16 + chapters! Let's go Bella- time to get a move on! Author's Response: Yep, poor baby. Makes you want to cuddle him---although there's nothing new there---we already wanted to cuddle him. So, this is partly why he wants to pursue a mental health career. You're right about Bella. She wasn't aggressive toward him, just receptive. And since she was already "taken" he felt she was safe to get to know. There's also the fact that the others are coupled-up, so he was kind of left hanging whether he realized it or not. Little did they know there would be sparks igniting.
Now Bella will be getting a move on so she can get her groove on ---with Mr. Rightward.

Wow, you work fast! Thanks for not leaving us hanging too long- I'm not sure my nerves could take it! LOL Hmmmmm...Jake was much more reasonable and understanding than I would have guessed. I'm really glad he didn't give Bella a hard time after the fight with Edward (totally hot by the way!)
How sweet is Edward? My husband made some comment to me the other day about not being able to read my mind (we were fighting about communication) and I responded with, "That's right! You are NOT Edward!" haha At least he tolerates my obsession.
Okay. Now I am excited to see where things go. I am hoping Bella isn't mopey for too long. Oh and I think it would be really fun if Alice found out about her birthday. Even if she thinks she doesn't want to make it a big deal, I bet she would feel better once Alice gets to her! Author's Response: I knew you were all hanging on for dear life, or for dear Edward, or something. Glad Jake redeemed himself a little. I like me some bruised fighting Hotward.
Okay, tell your hubs that my hibs IS Edward---his real name, but damn, he's just not the complete Cullen package! ;)
Bella will be all set to be mopey, but Edward has something to say about that.
The birthday isn't over, but I don't know if I want Alice in on it. I'll think about it. Bella's a little more private---at least for this birthday. I dunno, hadn't really thought about it. :)

LOL...you'd better hide! I'm not sure if I'm more upset about poor Jake and Billy or about Jake indirectly being a cockblocker again! Oh gosh, never saw that one coming- you keep us on our toes! Author's Response: I was going to stay in hiding, but I can't work very well under my desk using the laptop, and so chapter 35 would take a LLLLOOOOOOOONNNNG time to complete---plus the family dog hangs out under the desk too, and then he's just in the way. So, I decided to come out of hiding. Of course we all feel bad for Jake and Billy--and of course because we don't yet know the extent of their injuries, but they must be serious if the car was totalled. However, it's easy to be mad at Jake. Couldn't he have found a different day or time to be in an accident? Any time other than about-to-get-nekkid-time? It's like his job in life is to upset Bella, pile additional anxiety on Edward's plate, and irritate every reader in fan-fictiondom.
Glad you didn't see that coming. I'm trying to keep you on your toes. I'd be a lackluster writer if I didn't.:)

Glad you liked the chapter. It did have a lot going on: cuddletime, sexytime, sneaking-around-the-house-time, APOV time, confiding in your sister time, semi-naked cooking time and breakfast in bed time. Sprinkle a little Edward into all of those times and you've got the perfect time!

Poor Edward- the sexual tension is killing him! lol It's probably bothering Bella too. It's definitely bothering me, so yay for some pool/jacuzzi action! Author's Response: Poor Edward is suffering a meltdown. His inner monologing has turned into inner dialoging, and his dialog is arguing with itself! Bella has got to be watching that drooling hunk of Culleny Goodness turn into a flustered pile of need. There will be something kind of hot going on in that poolhouse before the morning is over. ;)

So funny! I can totally picture everyone texting in the store and running down the aisles. Condoms...lol! That was hilarious! What a fun chapter! Great use of the Twilight quotes by the way- very fitting here. "Esme the Condom Fairy!" Love it..lol! Poor Bella is all flustered and who can blame her? Glad you liked tha chapter and the use of the "As if you could..." lines. I thought that was a good way to incorporate them. ;) The Condom Fairly is like a grown up Tooth Fairy. We just didn't know her name was Esme.
I think this story just got really silly once Edward found himself a bright, funny girl to bring out his funny side--he's always been funny, he just had a more acerbic wit before and now he's just silly-in-love. So now you have two more people being goofy with Emmett, Rose, Alice and Jasper, who were already funny. Edward just didn't participate as much before when he was the fifth wheel.
So that's the main reason...the other reason is I'm just losing my mind as the story progresses. ;)
