So, I've been living under a rock for quite awhile... I finally read Twilight just before the movie was released on DVD. I couldn't put it down and when I finished, I thought to myself "Where have I been?" I'm grateful it took me a little bit to catch on though, as I never would have had the patience to wait for the subsequent books to be released. I ended up reading the entire saga within a week. Completley consumed with obsession, I went on to reread the series several times until I discovered....FANFICTION!!! It consumes a little too much of my time to be considered healthy, but that's okay- my husband and two kiddos will just have to deal. So I love reading your stories, and hopefully one day soon, I'll find the courage to write my own!

Summary: 
Bella takes a vacation to Hilton Head Island in South Carolina to meet Alice's new boyfriend, Jasper. Rosalie and Emmett come along, too, just in case Bella didn't feel like enough of a fifth wheel. With Jasper's roommate out of town, Bella has his nice big bed all to herself. Until Edward comes home in the middle of the night...

I'm so sorry-- I finished a new outtake for Something Stupid and accidentally added it as a chapter to Never Sleep. Then it accidentally got validated that way and that's why you got the notification. I deleted it from NS and posted it to SS, but I couldn't do anything about the notifications.
I'm working hard on the next chapter of Never Sleep but it will probably be Thursday before I can post it. Sorry!!!

I'm just getting started on your story, but I just had to say....Damn girl! You sure can write a first kiss. I'm loving your story so far. I had the fabulous experience of using a midwife with my second pregnancy. Such a tremendous difference from the resident I had to use for my first. I love how they treat the whole patient. I was nervous during my entire pregnancy because of complications I'd had during my first delivery, and my midwife would always check in with me and say, "How's your heart?" How sweet is that?

I feel Alice's pain! I was sent home twice, and I didn't live very close to the hospital. I literally rented a hotel room near the hospital- it was completly ridiculous! Labored for nearly three days, similar to Alice, just not progressing. I ended up delivering a 9 pound 11 ounce baby girl. I sure would have loved a c-section! I am still trying to catch up, but just wanted to say this was a beautiful chapter :)

Just found your story and I love it! I was really enjoying Bad Bella at first (such a change from how she is typically portrayed), but now I'm just so sad for her! I got a little teary reading about Jake...I hope Edward is able to help Bella heal and reconnect with herself and her parents.

On the last night of her annual trip to Forks to see her father, Bella finds herself a gorgeous distraction from ex boyfriend James. I found your story yesterday and now I am finally caught up. I am impressed! You describe the depth and strength of their emotions so well- the sadness, the angst, the heartache, the desire, the consuming power of their love. It's so beautiful and I am so relieved that things are back on track for these two! You are very talented and this was an amazing chapter, I'm so glad you didn't delete it :) Author's Response: WoW! Well, I am glad that Tanya was gracious enough to congratulate Edward and leave. She could have caused much more trouble, so it's nice that she was respectful of the situation and didn't. I'm still so sad about the baby! I'm wondering how Bella will react. I have a feeling that her attack and near loss of life may toughen her to the point that she gives Edward a really hard time when she awakes. I guess we'll see....Can't wait for the next chapter! Ugh! So disappointed in Edward right now. I get that he is overwhelmed and afraid, but he caved so quickly when he perceived his parents' displeasure. He never gave them a chance discuss the situation once the entire truth was out and made rash (bad) decisions without thinking! Poor Bella. I feel so bad for her right now. I think Edward is underestimating how strong she is and the depth of her feelings for him. They can make this work, but Edward has decided to not even try! He needs to do some serious groveling to make up for that. I hope Bella makes him work for her forgiveness when the time comes! Please upate soon, so I don't stay mad at Edward forever :) Author's Response: Don't stay mad at Edward. He's afraid and fear makes people do stupid things sometimes. He will resolve it. Thank you!
