This story begins from the point in New Moon just after Bella meets the rest of Jacob's pack.  Edward doesn't return to Forks until Bella and Jacob have spent more time together.  Will he stand aside like he promised, or will he fight for her?  What will happen the next time Bella's life is in danger?  Victoria still wants to kill her, Edward still loves her, and Jacob has a chance at winning her heart.  Who will be Bella's ultimate savior?  This is written with canon couples (though it may not seem like it for the first 6 chapters) and is mostly narrated by Bella and Edward with a dash of Jacob.   (FYI: The chromosphere is a thin layer of the Sun's atmosphere that can only be seen during a total solar eclipse, usually as a red flash.)

Rated NC-17 for mild bedroom (and elsewhere) antics (but no lemons), some harsh language, a little mayhem, and underage drinking (this is the reason it isn't rated R)... sounds fun right?  Again, this story features canon couples, and mostly in-character, so... whatever difference that makes to you... that's what it is.

Bella's parents have comissioned a painting to be done of her by one Edward Cullen. Edward, though, is too suave for his own good and its not long before he's trying to talk Bella right out of her own clothes.

“You did really well,” Edward said, beginning to pack up his things.

I blushed. "Thank you."

“You ever thought about posing nude?”

My head went up in shock and I half expected to see one of those gotcha smiles plastered on his face. There wasn’t though. No, instead he looked deadly serious, like he was already taking my clothes off with his eyes. I felt the sudden need to cover up.

During the kiss Bella and Jacob have right before the fight with the newborns, something happens and because of an untold legend, Bella's life is changed forever. No one is prepared for just how much change will come and why.

Bella and Edward are "buddies" and while Bella wants more, Edward pulls away every time she tries to make things more official.  Then one evening, she meets a tall, dark, handsome man out in a club, and he promises her everything she always wanted.  Will Bella take it, even if it's not with the person she thought it would be with?  And what will Edward do when his friend is suddenly no longer available?
