As her newest on-line story, From Hate to Heat, develops so does a correspondence with a mysterious reader/reviewer of that story. Who, exactly is reading Bella's/bellybeans' fanfic? It's a case of art imitating life and life imitating art. I'd been dissatisfied more times than I could count in the past two years, which probably wasn't a bad thing. Usually, it just meant another long month of disappointment on my part when we realized the new batch of women were no good. We'd found several candidates that fit our needs, but as was often the case, they lacked that certain spark I'd personally been looking for. It didn't matter, though; I always had a lot of fun deciphering through the rejects.

It wasn't about promiscuity; it wasn't about experimentation, although we did plenty of that. Our program was about learning how to find sexual pleasure, adapting to different methods, and finding that one person who chemically and physically matched us to perfection.

 Rated NC-17 for graphic lemons, sexual/adult content, and foul language. Canon couples...eventually.

Bella is completely devastated by the accident and is no longer the woman she used to be. She returns to Washington to be closer to her father and best friends, trying to find a way to put her life back together.  

Edward has had a "thing" for Bella for ten years, but he never acted on it, and no one ever knew about his feelings for her. He's done a decent job of building a good life, but Bella's return makes him question and re-think everything he thought he knew.

Once these two meet again, he's going to do all he can to finally get his girl, but life and circumstances will make it difficult for him - and Bella will be the biggest challenge of all.  

Story is AU-Human. 

After their honeymoon on Isle Esme, Bella gets to spend more time being human with Edward as they travel cross-country to New Hampshire and beyond, and learn about art, love and temperature differentials. Newlyweds being newlyweds, so lemons.
