A few weeks before Bella and Edward's wedding, something terrible happens in the state of Washington.  Can the Cullens protect Bella and her father from the living dead?

This story recognizes canon up to the battle with the newborns in Eclipse, veering into AU territory shortly thereafter. Though Riley is destroyed, Victoria escapes, causing a chain of unexpected events. (Jacob is not injured during the fight and there is no appearance by Bree or the Volturi at the end of the battle in this universe.) Chapters will alternate between Bella, Jacob, Edward, and OC's POVs. Please note that though some actions may be bit OOC, it is only to allow for further character development.

The Volturi, angered by Victoria's actions, have placed a bounty on her head, attracting a mysterious tracker. Intrigued by the human with the impenetrable mind, the stranger discovers that there is more to Bella than her apparent ability to shield. What happens when situations arise that cause Bella to truly evaluate her feelings for both Edward and Jacob? How will Bella’s true abilities begin to manifest themselves and what will the Volturi have to say about the matter? Could what she discovers bring her closer to happiness or will it threaten to destroy everything?

This is my version of New Moon as told from Edward's point of view. The dialogue is borrowed from New Moon when Edward and Bella are together , but the rest is my interpretation of what the story would have been like if Edward had told it.

Part of me still revels in the knowledge that Bella genuinely desires to be with me forever – so much so that she called for a family vote a few weeks ago and then, after receiving their approval, guaranteed that she would join me in immortality by seeking Carlisle's word that he would condemn her to three days of torture after her high school graduation.

The other part of me – the part that still fears the destruction of Bella's soul despite her rebuttal about my beliefs, "There's hope in you, after all." – plots daily to circumvent this rapidly approaching deadline.

I thought that I had come up with the perfect stalling tactic that same morning, but I realized as the days went on that it was far more than just a strategic maneuver. It was the deepest wish of my heart.

"Marry me first."

Sequel to Event Horizon: Edward's side of New Moon.  This is Eclipse as told from Edward's point of view. Canon, but there are several extra scenes that were not in the original novel.  This story reference certain events in my previous story, Event Horizon, but you don't have to read it first.  Dialogue from Eclipse is used in places out of necessity. We all believe that Edward and Bella are meant to be together...but what if there’s more to that than meets the eye?

What if there are forces at work that they don’t understand? How will they cope with events that have no discernable meaning?

This story starts out two weeks before Bella and Edward’s wedding. But, right away, things go wrong. They struggle with mishap after mishap, all the while wondering if they’re destined to be at the center of conflict and angst.

All the major characters of Twilight appear. Canon couples. Lemons in various chapters. This is a more realistic view of Edward and Bella’s relationship before the wedding. He certainly wouldn’t carry her off to a desert island alone, having never even touched her. They would have experimented a bit.

Eventually all characters get their Happily Ever After. I just drag them through hell before we get there. No characters die before their time.

And I’ve adhered to canon up until the story starts—Post Eclipse. After that, it diverges from SM’s version. So...no Renesmee. No pregnancy.

I’ve poured my heart and soul into this story. It took me over a year to complete. I thought about it constantly. For that hard work and diligence to form, grammar and style, I’d like just one tiny thing from you, the reader.
