Bella Swan has spent the past four years excelling at school as a way to insulate herself from her past.  She finished her bachelor's degree early and is about to start her first semmester as a TA in the literature department of a small heavily wooded school in the northeast when her past finds her.  Bella finds herself thrust back into the world of vampires and werewolves and she has to decide which path her life will take, if she can survive that long.

After being betrayed by the man she thought she loved, Bella vowed to never let anyone in again. Until she met Edward Cullen. Is he truly the perfect man for her, or will he break her heart beyond repair?

Sequel to Event Horizon: Edward's side of New Moon.  This is Eclipse as told from Edward's point of view. Canon, but there are several extra scenes that were not in the original novel.  This story reference certain events in my previous story, Event Horizon, but you don't have to read it first.  Dialogue from Eclipse is used in places out of necessity. Excerpt from Chapter 3:

Bella spun en pointe, her hair whirling about her lithe form like a veil. A dark veil that gave tantalizing evidence of secrets hidden. She studied me through her lashes as her eyes went from dark gold to black with desire. "You did invest, buying this. Just in case you wondered."

I rose to take her into my arms, lifting her with my hands at her waist – as a dancer might his partner. "Best investment I'll likely make all year. So what else was in that mysterious package?"

Bella and Edward leave Forks to go to college in New England, accompanied by the whole Cullen coven. We enter a world of romance and mystery where the two vampires discover that life as students can be very eventful, more so than they bargained for...

Bella had the perfect life.  She was married to her longtime best friend, had a great job and a beautiful son…until a careless driver stole her happiness.

Edward was fulfilling his dreams.  His residency was almost over, he had a gorgeous fiancé, and he was ready to move forward, starting a family…until a devastating break-up and a health scare in his family shake his foundation.

See, sometimes, life doesn’t go the way you want.  Sometimes, things can happen that change the course you choose.  And most of the time, it takes courage to walk down the new path.

Summary:  Every summer Edward and his family spend their time in the small town of Forks and he's usually not excited about it.  Bella visits her father in the summer and usually doesn't mind.  They meet at a bonfire the eve of 4th of July and quickly become friends.  As the years pass, they make it back to Forks every summer even though they are apart throughout the rest of the year.  Although they make it back to each other every year while they're apart have to re-convince themselves that it's worth the wait and that they should stay together.
