Bella has been an angel for well over two hundred years. In 1901 she received her first assignment, and that was to look over Edward Masen. She continued to look over him after that fateful day in 1918. Once Edward learns of her existence, he realizes that in order for her to protect him and his family from unseen dangers she must give something up. But, in the process of things he falls in love with his angel. They face a lot of obstacles but, somehow the love they have for each other brings them through it. All told in Edward's point of view.
