To help out the new imprints, Emily Uley – newly wed First Imprint – is putting together a little guidebook.  Written for introductory and reference purposes, Wolf Girls 101 is intended to provide insight, perspective and humor to the view a new imprint might have of her position and of her werewolf.

Excerpt from Chapter 1:

An imprint is the person upon whom the werewolf fixes, biologically.  It is a mystical connection as well as a biological one, but we believe it is mostly for the purpose of procreation.

Yes, having children.  Scary as it may be to even consider letting these guys with their games and strange sense of humor reproduce... It is the underlying purpose of the imprint.

When Charlie is diagnosed with cancer, Bella decides to move to Forks to help him through his treatment and recovery. What happens when the resentful son of the new cancer doctor meets up with the reason he was dragged to this small town? AH. E/B.

Imprinting.  It's a mystical bonding for a werewolf and his mate.  More than just identifying a soul-mate, the imprint is meant to promote a strengthening of the shapeshifting bloodlines for each imprinted male. 

It is, according to Sam and Emily Uley, a mating imperative.  The sanity of the male is tied to the proximity of his mate.  This is not always convenient...

But it can be interesting!  Just ask Embry Call and Bella Swan.

Excerpt from chapter two:

I moistened my lips – nervous, but knowing he would kind of need me to get the ball rolling, so to speak, because he would never want to rush me.  Especially not this weekend.  “Were they good dreams?”

“Very.”

“Would you tell me about them?”

He almost choked.  “Isabella!”  A tremor passed through his body, but I knew it had nothing to do with that inner wolf and everything to do with the man that he was.  “No,” he murmured.  “But I can show you...”

When Edward left Bella (entirely for her own good!), he broke her, ripping an emotional and psychological hole in her that took time to heal.

In my story The Hardest Part, we read how Bella is paired with Embry Call, Jacob Black's best friend, and how she becomes his mate. His imprint. His other half.  But we don't hear how she felt about it all, really.

This intrigued enough of my readers that they asked me to bring out Bella's perspective of this story.  In my view, the imprint is the best thing for Bella in this AU, and in Becoming Whole, I hope to show why this is so. Why a relative stranger with an instinctive commitment to her could patch the holes Bella carried with her.

Imprinting is a mystery. It brings together two people who might not have even considered one another in any way whatsoever.  My interpretation of this relationship holds that it is, overall, a mating imperative to assure the strong propagation of the "shape shifting" gene. 

When Embry Call imprints on Bella Swan, he finds that the hardest part of being a werewolf might be something he hadn't even considered.

Wide brown eyes met mine and I gasped. I felt my arms fall out of their protective stance. All the pieces of my life took a few steps back, distancing themselves from the girl who had suddenly become the center of my universe with a jolt that left me breathless.

It's basically a retelling of Twilight, with a few twists. Edward isn't the only one who can hear thoughts. Bella can also, but like Edward there is that one exception...him. What happens when she learns their secret? And what happens when the Cullen's find out that she already knows? Written from Bellla's point of view.

Set during early 2006.

Edward Cullen made Bella Swan’s life a living hell from age ten to twelve. Finally fed up with the torment and teasing, she moved to Phoenix. Now she’s seventeen, beautiful, and has a new sense of confidence. When her mother sends her back to Forks for her senior year, she is determined to shake things up.

NC-17 for sexuality, underage drinking, and language. OOC, just to be safe. Some canon pairings, some absolutely the opposite.

Married for 6 years to her high school sweetheart and haunted by secrets she can’t escape, Bella thinks that true love has passed her by. Fresh from residency Dr. Edward Cullen moves back to Seattle to begin his life. What happens when you meet the love of your life, and find out they’re already taken?
