I used to play in HP fandom for many years, before discovering Twilight quite by accident, when some friends of a f*lister of mine on LJ helped with a covert op to reaarange RPattz's wiki page. I was amused, and curious as to what all the 'dazzle' talk was about. So in my case, curiosity didn't kill the cat, just caused it to become obsessed with vampires. I've tried to pull some of my old HP cronies into this fandom with me, but they are frighteningly strong and were somehow able to fight me of with large sticks and kicks to the stomach.

I have a bit of an obsession with Carlisle and Edward, and sometimes pre-Esme Carlisle/Edward, though I can't find anyone else who shares this particular obsession.

I have a passionate love of commas and they turn up randomly in nearly every sentence I write -- besides this one. 

I'm strangely shy over the interwebz, but not actually in person, which I've been told on countless occasions makes absolutely no sense, but there you have it. Forums scare me especially.
