I'm married to a pretty funny man, who finds my obsession with all things Twilight pretty hilarious, if not, sometimes slightly annoying.
I try to tell him that it's his entire fault. He was actually the one who bought me the first book while I was home recovering from minor surgery. He got roped into it by a sales associate (who was probably a pretty girl) at Barnes & Noble that told him I was sure to love it...even though I wasn't 15. Come to think of it, I should really probably buy her a present!
He thinks that the idea of me actually writing a story in an "Alternate Universe" is pretty funny too. (Yes, I've come out to my wonderful husband as a writer of FF) He said to me "I just keep imaging the characters of Twilight playing the roles of the characters of Grease. You know, like Edward Cullen as Danny Zuko or Jasper as Kinicke." This, if I'm being honest, made me laugh a little too. But, I let it slide, since he really doesn't quite get it.
I am an educated, professional woman with a great job that I love and am passionate about.
I'm all about female empowerment, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna go all "Gloria Steinem Ball-Buster" on you or anything.
I love to clean my house, but I hate to do laundry. I would have it all dry cleaned if I could.
I'm obsessed with all things cosmetics and fragrance! Very girlie, when it comes to stuff like that.
I love the beach and the sun. I don't know how long I would actually last in a place like Forks.
My one quest in life has been to find the "perfect" cocktail. Hence, my name. I have a great group of friends who have been more than happy to help me make my discovery. We haven't discovered it yet. Although, a couple of places have come close.
