Oh, such a charming story overall! The hope theme is wonderfully promoted throughout. Jasper has arrived into control of himself. Thank you for a feel into his soul; I cried.
Author's Response: Thank you for such a lovely review. I'm very glad you enjoyed the story! :)

So far, I have read a couple of your stories and I know that you are an amazing author. You are a rare breed of writers that can write appealing, eloquent dialogue while maintaining a plot. I have no doubt in my mind that you will be a superb and successful writer if that is your chosen career path. If you have any other writings such as originals that you would like to share, I would love to read them. Your writing is very stylistic and I have become a huge fan. I look forward to reading more of your work.
Author's Response: Thank you very much for the lovely review. As a prospective author myself, that means a lot to me. x

As always your writing is great. I love Jasper... no one writes about him enough. Thank you
Author's Response: Thanks again! I love Jasper too. He's one of my favourite characters to write about. :)

What beautiful oneshot. I randomly got into a mode for Jasper and this was exactly what I wanted. I loved seeing his perspective, and the scenes you created. Wonderful fic.
Author's Response: Thank you. Sometimes I just have the random idea to explore one character in particular too - and this is what arises from it! I'm glad you enjoyed it. xx

aw. this is such a sweet story to read, my favorite is when alice and jasper meet the cullens. i am always curious as to what happens when edward and alice first meet...
xx
Author's Response: Thanks! I very nearly wrote about them meeting Edward too, but I wanted to save Edward's moment with Jasper for the fourth part. I love thinking about moments like these. x

Beautiful, emotional, informative. I love Jasper.. thank you so much for these missing moments. I love how you saw the day he met Alice, it revealed so much more about his character and it was a sweet scene. Loved the little moment when he thought "the vampire woman" might attack.
I like your take on the scene with Jasper and Edward talking about their slips. I always want to think of them as being good friends because their talents are somewhat similar.
I was hoping to see Edward's first meeting with them. As Rosalie said "
I can't wait to see his expression when he meets the two of you"
Most enjoyable, thank you.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review and rating. I'm glad you liked these scenes. Jasper is one of my favourite characters to write. I only stopped myself from writing Edward's first meeting with them because I'd love to write that scene, but in a speperate, EPOV story. :)
Thanks again!

Nice- My favorite part was #1. I've always wished there was more written about it in the books. Thanks for writing it!
Author's Response: Thank you! Number 1 was my favourite part to write, too. Glad you enjoyed it. x

Oh, wonderful! It's always so tragic to think that Jasper lived so many years, able to feel love but not experience it. Your description of their meeting is just so romantic and heartwarming. Thanks for sharing another lovely story!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked the description of their meeting. That was by far my favourite part of this story to write. I've always wanted to give more detail to that perfect scene. x

Very nice. Rather sweet, even with the fourth part. It was interesting that Edward commiserating with Jasper on his slip, but of course it makes sense. But Edward's 'slip' was deliberate—in a way Emmett might have been a better choice as his slips with his 'singers' were true slips, not conscious choices. But I digress.
I think you've handled the characterisations quite well. One thing, you said that Rosalie and Carlisle hadn't tasted human blood (and you're not the only one to say that about Carlisle). Rosalie hadn't before Breaking Dawn, that's canon. But how did Carlisle change Edward, Esme, Rosalie, and Emmett without tasting human blood? Performing the change involves biting, no? Wouldn't that mean he'd tasted human blood, he just hasn't fed from a human.
Minor point. This is still a wonderful story! Thank you!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I've always felt that even though the rest of them had also slipped, it was that much worse for Edward and Jasper, because they could both feel or hear their victim's deaths in a way that someone like Emmett couldn't. Even though Edward's choice was a deliberate one, it's still the same as Jasper's.
I'm glad you liked the way they were characterised too. I'm not sure that Carlisle would necessarily have tasted blood - the venom comes from their teeth, so surely they wouldn't have to taste the blood - just sink their teeth into the skin? But it's something I've never thought of before, and a very good point. That could prove useful for character studies of Carlisle later on...
