I didn't think their could be a more tortured/angsty couple than canon E&B but these two...wow! What a crappy situation. Hopefully, Bella can convince him to drink some of her blood simply to get him to a state where is lucid and can make somewhat logical decisions. He's just a wreck right now and pretty much useless to himself as well as everyone else. I still think there is another option for a cure & Aro is hiding it. How evil was it that Aro tried to manipulate Edward's emotions the minute Carlisle is out of the room? The dude is just bad news.
Keeping my fingers crossed that Bella can talk Edward down off the ledge in the next chapter. And....she needs to tell him that she's in love with him because she is.

hey really great chap i guess keeping bella captive is in the interessts of her "safety" but not exactly the best solution - at least we know wt is wrong =] but i really dont think edward could cope with going back to drinking from her again tbh =]

One of the things that impresses me the most is how you portray his deteriorating mind from inside of it. We get it all in flashes, like we're floating right alongside him.
Definitely raising my bitchbrow to Carlisle over what would happen if he turned her. Aro might not *think* it will work, but the others all killed their singers. These are uncharted waters.

Great moment. SM , I think, did not explore vampire nature in the context of, original sin, God, damnation, etc adequately.
Perving here: Could Bella's "other juices" give Edwward what he needs? Well then. Then we could have more of those shower scenes and Bella would, indeed be a very happy woman!

I hope that there is a cure for what Edward has without Bella's blood. Maybe Aro has told them only a half of the truth and there is a cure ... or maybe Carlisle will find another way ...I don't like where are they now ... it's so tragic :(( Hope Bella and Edward will be together, both sane, soon.

Wow...I mean just WOW! This is just spellbinding. I so want to beat the crap out of Aro for making Edward think such horrible things. I somehow sense that Aro isn't completly honest with Edward. I have no doubt that Aro would still capture Bella and take her blood for Edward to get better. Aaaahhhhh this is just crazy. I sure hope Edward takes what Bella is willing to offer so he can get better. awesome chapter... you know.. for a split second i thought he was gonna stay in Volterra.. and Bella would have gone to retrieve him.. going all "dominant" on his ass... you have to admit.. that would have been pretty hot/funny if bella came into Volterra and was like:

I wonder if Caius was lying about Bella being turned not solving any problems. Does anyone really know the answers? It sounds like there's no historical evidence showing what would happen if Bella were changed. Also, we don't know if the other vampire/singer combinations loved each other.
As I see it, all paths lead to death for Edward, eventually, unless changing Bella is the key.
Path 1: Bella is his living blood bank until she dies a natural death. Edward then descends into madness and has to be destroyed.
Path 2: Edward drinks from her and drains her completely. Blood bank gone, Edward destroyed.
Path 3: Edward changes Bella, and if he is mad, at least she's the one person who can get through to him.
Shame on Aro for manipulating Edward. I hate him.

God!! I love this chapter! You rock! Here's how I see this playing out: Edward goes to the cabin, and tells her he is going back to the Volturi where he can't hurt her anymore. Upon hearing this, Bella begs him to stay, and when that fails, she dsliberetely cuts herself. Then... it's anyone's guess. LOL! Please update soon. Your story... This is the most intriging and horror/suspense story ever ( okay, now I sound younger than I am)
I can not begin to describe how vivid and realistic and heart wrenching you write Edward...its a no compromising Edward and I love him for it and my hearts break for him..
I wonder...Can Bella give Edward her blood and then be changed?
