uh oh is right-what the hell?  I feel like we are traveling along with an Alzheimers patient as they descend into dementia-it's frightening to me.  I loved that Alice pointed out to Edward how he always takes away Bella's choices-making the choice for her.  I think if he kills Charlie it will just be the end for him and for him and Bella, so I don't want that to happen, although at this point their relationship is just sad.  Great writing, Savage.

Now the only thing that really confuses me is how does he remember what Aro said to him ? I mean he forgets everything but he can remember all the stuff Aro said to him about hurting his family , Bella all of it.. Why wouldn't he forget about even going to Italy, or at least what Aro told him but he remembers it all so well......

I can not believe Rose and Emmett are not watching him.. i hope to god Alice sees what is happening and calls them right now so they can stop him from confronting Charlie.. Maybe we will get lucky and Charlie won't be there. I don't like this Edward is mad Charlie is keeping them apart ... Is this part of the Volturi's plan? They totally didn't make a mention, if I recall correctly, of Bella knowing what she wasn't allowed to know, but they let him go. If he goes to Italy, he'd have to take her with him, right? And that's delivering another power to them. If he doesn't come, but freaks out over there, perhaps they anticipated him being tired of Charlie saying *no* to him seeing the best part of still being him, then he'll attack, and perhaps somehow the Volturi will be on top of that? I mean, won't Aro have someone there?

Yes, this was a good chapter, BUT, it really seems like we're on a repeating tedious loop - for, how many chapters has he been losing his mind, confused, can't remember things correctly, acting child-like and then he sexes up Bella and has a temporary little fix?  With the exception of the chapter in Italy... 8-9-10 chapters?  I think we get it how bad it is, and are equally frustrated and ready for something to be resolved!  Please?  Maybe come up with another issue to resolve, keep us hungry and passionate like the first part of the story was?

Obviously Aro was hiding a key factor because he's a selfish manipulative mofo.  Since Edward is so adamant about not drinking Bella's blood, let's hopeCarlisle or someone discovers an alternative pdq.

Why is it Edward can't remember what anyone else has said or did, but he can remember Aro verbatum?  Thiis doesn't add up and is also frustrating.

Why does Bella do everything except come right out and tell him she loves him?  She gives him everything except that.  I mean, I remember what she said, but she does love him in her heart, she loves him with her body, what so wrong with saying the words out of her mouth?  If he knew that she loved him, that what she was doing was out of love and not obligation, it might help!

I hope Alice sees Edward's decision in time enough to give everyone a heads up.  Wonder what is she doing in Seattle anyway?

He's not getting better, but I really do hope he's right that there is another solution.  Poor Charlie.  I'm a little nervous for him. 

I'm getting more and more angry at Aro for putting those negative thoughts in his head.  It's making everything much worse for Edward.

Jeez, you're not going to let up on poor Edward, are you?  I think we can guess what he wants to do to Charlie, but hopefully he'll forget what it was by he time he gets there!  Is it ever going to get better for him?  (I know you won't answer that because you hate it when other authors say "it's all going to be fine, trust me").  I keep hoping that maybe Edward is going through some kind of cold-turkey withdrawal and that eventually he will start to get better, but I'm beginning to think that's not going to happen - it's been too long since he last tasted Bella's blood, and he's still just getting worse.  I simply cannot see any future for him, because even if he starts drinking her blood again, it will just be a temporary solution and he if he stops he will just regress again.  I suspect tragedy is looming and I'm not sure I can bear it.  I see you have started a new fic, so assume you may be getting near the end of H&D, which I guess means that it's all going to go horribly wrong and Edward will be destroyed, one way or another, or somehow there's going to be some miracle cure - which doesn't strike me as your style.  I'm think I might have to stop reading until it's finished, but I really don't know if I can - it's like Bella's blood, I just can't resist!
