Hmm, I like Jake and Bella's friendship; even knowing that, for now at least, he have his sights in another level of relationship. It was one of the high points of the books, that it survived in the end, against all odds. I wonder what will be of them now. I mean, Jacob was so prejudiced against the Cullens for most of the story, so full of hate and scorn. But, with Bella being already one of them, I really don't know what to expect. :-/

Now, to answer some questions.
It is indeed into New Moon at this point. I tried to keep the timeline accurate, and upon closer inspection I seem to have screwed it up a bit. I thought the movie night with Mike was actually on Valentine's day, but it was the Friday after (I just checked), which is the night Jacob phases for the first time in New Moon, whereas I have him phasing here on V-day. :( Nevertheless, his phasing was only a few days early in my story, and I suppose we can blame his close contact with Bella ;)
I like their friendship too, and while I can tell you that in this story, despite the irony, it's only just begun, I don't know if I can be optimistic about it ending well. It isn't written in stone quite yet, but I'm not getting good vibes. :(

Edward is right, he and Bella need to leave the theater now. They can't fight 4 werewolves alone. The treaty has been broken. The wolves know now with Edward trying to protect Bella from them. It's only a matter of time before the whole story will come out. The wolves will go after the Cullens. I can see where Edward's plans for a romantic night have been blown to pieces. Have to tell the family and make the effort to leave immediately and start over. It's going to kill Charlie when Bella leaves with no explanation. Anxiously waiting for Book 2 to begin. Please hurry with your other stories so you can start with Book 2.

Love Phase?? These are your bad news? Heck, woman! I need more bad news like that. Love Phase was the first story I did read here, is still one of my favs, and I'm waiting for an update for ages! Bring it on! :-D

Sincerelly, I thought Jacob was going to explode in fur at any moment, specially with him growing in front of Bella's eyes. Anyway, good thing it didn't happen, for Charlie and Billy's safety. Billy, by the way, looked like the most dangerous thing that night. Whenever he figures out what really happened with Bella, ugly will be an understatement for the situation. :(

Oh well hell. I get what you are saying about finishing up the other story. I think it is great to stay focused. Just dont leave us too long. This is a really really good story.

Edward so romantic leaving flowers on Bella's desk for Valentine's Day. Jake left her chocolates too. Reminding her of their movie date. Nice twist on date night in New Moon. Not going to be safe for any vampire named Cullen once this night is over. Since Jake's fever and run to the restroom. If Bella can smell something horrid it's not vomit, it's wet dog or worse, it's Jacob (shaftshifting-werewolf), then he'll be able to smell her vampiric odor as well. Once he realizes what Bella has become then will be made known Cullens have broken treaty and more trouble will occur. I don't think Edward's plans for later are going to happen.

Thanks for the update! Poor Jake, phasing at a movie theater! So now he's either going to have to walk out as a wolf or naked?! That's pretty crazy. Anxious for the last chapter to see how that goes!

Yay, I was so happy about an update. I especially liked this line:
"Each time Jacob stood up he seemed just a little taller, and each time he sprawled back onto the floor, he seemed to be taking up just a little more space."
