Great chapter, sad though.

Author's Response:

You're the first to tell me that this chapter is the sad one! I'm guessing, by your reaction, that you're a Bella/Edward fan then? hehe. Either way, I'm glad that you're enjoying the story! Thank you so much for your review!

Great chapter, sad though.

Aside from the sadness of Bella's story so far, I broke out laughing at the thought of the look on the guys' faces after Bella's last line there :)

Author's Response:

I'm so glad you like it so far and that you actually "lol"'d. Here's a peek at the next chapter:

I got up out of my bed and threw a shirt on before opening the door to my room and padding the few short feet to Bella’s door.
I listened for a second, wondering if she had fallen back asleep. Then I heard her cry out louder and knew that she hadn’t. I was just about to open the door when I heard her tumble from the bed and her feet running towards the door. It flew open and there stood Bella, her hair looking like a nest, her t-shirt twisted around her body and her eyes wild. She took me in, standing there with my mouth open, and flung herself at my chest.
My arms came around her instinctively and I could feel her shaking. I pressed my lips to her hair and rubbed soft circles into her back, feeling the dampness of her shirt.
“Shhh, it’s okay Bella, it’s okay now,” I whispered softly, trying to encourage her to release her death grip on my chest. I was seriously starting to reconsider teasing her about her abilities to hurt Emmett. She had a hold on me that rivalled a vice grip.
“Shhh...it’s okay now,”

Author's Response:

That's a good list of classic chick flick movies! They don't actually watch a movie at this point but there will be moving watching later on and I will have to keep this list in mind! Thank you! Here's a teaser from the next chapter:

Poor Edward, it seems that he has stronger feelings for Bella than what she relises. Great start, looking forward to more!!!

Author's Response:

Heh heh, yeah. Bella`s a bit clueless right now!

Thanks for your review and here`s a teaser from the next chap!

“My parents, Charlie and Renee Swan. They were eighteen when they got married,” I said. The boys leaned together as one, each of them taking in my parents.
“You look like your mother,” Jasper said, touching the edge of the picture gently.
“You can pick it up, it’s okay,” I said. He did, gingerly, understanding that these were precious to me. He looked at it for a few seconds and then passed it to Emmett as I began to speak.
“They were high school sweethearts. Two idiots in love. They eloped and pissed off both of their families. I think it was their obvious love for each other than finally got their parents to relent and speak to them again,” I watched as Emmett grinned at the picture.
“They’ve got that ‘stupid-happy’ look on their faces,” he smiled at the picture and passed it to Edward.
“Yeah, they do,” Edward said softly, looking up at me, “You do look like your mother, but you have your father’s eyes.”
I smiled. It was nice to hear that they saw bits of my parents within me. It reinforced the knowledge that I had come from them. That I had once belonged.

This is an interesting concept for a story.  I really like it.

Will you be introducing Alice?  Rose?  What is up with Edward?  Looks

like he doesn't know yet that he likes Bella in another way?!

Thanks for being a talented writer.  Post soon!

oh edward.. yes you better mark your territory

Author's Response:

Hehehehe! Oh Edward indeed!

Here's your tease:

“Weeeelll,” she drew out the word as she turned around, spoon in hand, “You have two options: Eddie or Edwardo, you pick.”
“How bout option C? Neither!”
“Hmm, maybe we should just go with “clinically stupid” since I know I didn’t mention a third option.  You must have shit for brains,” she was grinning.
“HEY!” I tossed the nearest thing at her, it happened to be a dinner roll.
“OI! Don’t waste the food shit for brains!” she yelled, picking the roll up off the ground, “This will be yours now,” she handed it back to me, “Might want to dust it off.”
“Who’s got shit for brains?” Jasper asked, walking in, when he spotted me he grinned, “Never mind, I see Edward’s here.”
“What the fuck? Is this gang up on Edward day?” I demanded, scowling at the two of them.
“Nope, not until Emmett gets here,” Bella replied grinning, “EMMETT! COME TORTURE EDWARD!” she hollered, going back to the stove.
Mere seconds later, Emmett appeared in the kitchen, grinning, “You don’t have to tell me twice!”

“There she is, I’m going to go rescue her,” Edward stood and loped over towards Bella and the students. His mood had seemed to improve marginally from this morning and I was grateful for it. A pissy Edward was never pleasant.
I was watching Bella as Edward walked over and so I knew the moment she saw him approaching. Her face instantly melted into relief. She was just as anxious as I had thought, but, she was playing it off well. None of these students knew what kind of anxiety issues Bella dealt with. To be fair, neither did we, because she wouldn’t open up. Dad was pretty sure that she was, at the very least, dealing with some anxiety if not Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. But she wouldn’t talk, so we couldn’t do anything for her until she did... or until she snapped.

Here's a peek at what's coming up!

I had eaten one of the muffins and downed a glass of orange juice before Mr. Pretty decided to grace us with his presence.
He was looking handsome, as usual. But was I surprised? No, not really.
Jasper and I looked at each other and tried to hide our grins.
“Edward! That better not be my hairspray I smell on you!” I called out to him as he walked towards the front closet to get his jacket.
“You? Hair spray? Please, Bella!” he snapped back.
Ooooh, someone is snarky this morning.
“Glad to see you slept well!” I replied nonchalantly.
“Well, I know you certainly did!” his voice was full of venom but I couldn’t see his face.
I looked at Jasper and he looked at me, both of us puzzled. What the hell was wrong with Edward this morning? He seemed to be pissed off about the way that I slept? I thought back to last night. I had fallen asleep on the couch with Jasper, watching a movie, because I couldn’t sleep and had come downstairs to watch infomercials until I passed out.

I'm intrigued ... why is Bella dying?

Or, why does she thinks she's dying?

The picture of her family that you paint is scrumptious. I wish mine were that caring. I guess that's why I'm drawn to the Cullen's in the first place.

Yes, yes, yes! Please continue.

I think this is really going to be good - give us some more!

Author's Response:

Thanks so much! I'm really glad you like it! Here's a taste of what's coming up!
