I get the feeling that Bella's not really happy with her life.  Jacob seems to be controlling, how far that goes remains to be seen.  I think she was flattered that the captain of the football team pursued her 'relentlessly' because she obviously didn't feel worthy of his attention, which is probably why he gets away with controlling her.  Edward's really going to shake this family up.

Lol, Alice is scarier than ever, I wouldn't like to cross her.  Edward seems to be surrounded by controlling women who intimidate him.  Jake's only just met him and he hit the nail on the head straightaway, Edward isn't being looked after probably he's just being flogged like a work horse.  What will Jane make of all this?  I feel sorry for her with her problem, pain wears you down in the worst way and makes you into a completely different person.

I read this story in almost one sitting, stinking work getting I the way! This fast became one of my favorite fics. I love the character development and I could actually picture Edward and Bella at all these places. Of course being a fellow Houstonian has something to do with that! Oh to see Rob driving down Highway6 would be something! I've book marked this page as I will be reading this fic over and over again. Where are those out takes?

It's always nice when a fellow Houstonion reads this and can appreciate all of the local flavor that I tried to incorporate! I decided against writing any outtakes for the moment. I started to write one, but I just wasn't happy with the way it was turning out. I won't absolutely rule out the possibility of one in the future, but in the meantime, I'm working on a new Twilight fic as well as an original fic. Well, I think that some readers may have been a little frustrated by the 'slow-burn' aspect of this story, but I felt pretty strongly that B & E shouldn't rush into their physical relationship, given all of the complications. I wanted to stay true to their characters. It'll all be worthwhile in the end! :)

i just knew there was something angela was keeping from bella. the implied animosity between her & jacob seems to be deep-rooted.

and i'm super stoked that edward & angela got along so well although this whole keeping secrets from bella may not play out so well in the long run; i certainly hope that it doesn't come back to bite them in the ass.

lastly, i'm not the least bit surprised that claire attempted to bust some moves on edward lol... it was just a matter of time. but i think edward handled the situation in a very gentle and diplomatic fashion :D

as for that strange vehicle... i think it's james stalking bella

i had already established that jacob was a bastard but i didn't realize that he was a fucking bastard! he's probably trying to figure out how to leave bella without disappointing claire.

LOL! Yeah, Jake's not exactly the most likable character in this story. I don't condone cheating, and two wrongs don't make a right, but I think that most people can empathize with Bella turning to Edward, given the ententuating circumstances! And yeah, keep your eye on James ...
