I like the Gossip Girl feel to it. Poor Edward. Maybe he'll get some drunken Bella confession at the party. Let me guess, Bellas parents and Jacobs parents are friends and in business together so she has to be with him, right?

I'm enjoying the story so far. You've set it up in such a fashion that you've peaked my interest. I like this shy Edward, and now I'm curious as to why Bella is so sad. What is her story? well done.
