I'm absolutely addicted to your story - it's one of my favorites that I've read (and I've read a lot!!)  I imagine there will be a big blow up when he finds out that she knew, so I hope that doesn't happen too soon.  I love the playful, teasing banter they have right now, I hope you can stretch it out a little more!!  I don't think she should be too mean to him, but I love stuff like messing up his CD's and kitchen when he is so OCD - that whole thing was hysterical.  I really just like both your Bella and Edward - you do a great job w/both POV's.

I don't think you copied anyone!!  The concept of men betting over who gets the girl is pretty general , and I love how you have interpreted it with Bella and Edward.

What a hilariously screaming chapter.  Emmett sure has Edward's weaknesses.  He literally freaked inside to see his kitchen demolished by her cooking.  Of course, she probably was messier than usual to tweak his chain a little.  After all he made the bet to have her sexually to win the bet from James.  Even if it is to get revenge for Alice was still a really creepy thing to do to Bella.  He didn't even know her and just to win a bet didn't care about messing with her head.  Thank goodness for Jake.  I thoroughly enjoyed the mess as she made it.  Also messing up his alphabetically organized CD collection.  He will be crazy with that when he finds out about it.  Right now he's only concerned about the kitchen.  But since the water fight between them both, how childish but fun, he doesn't even care that the floor is full of water or all the counters and every appliance is soaked.  I have had a water fight with the kitchen hose and it is fun, but oh the mess.  The time it takes to clean makes you think before doing it a second time.  But it still is funny.  So now he's not upset about the water fight.  Bella's is loosing up his OCD constraints a little.  Of course, he'll still have to clean it up before he goes to bed.  Edward will wait a couple of days to get his head straight.  Doubt that will be happening any time soon.  Emmett is sure to get an earful in the near future for helping Bella with address and spare key.  Edward is unaware that mixing up the CD's and leaving the kitchen totally destroyed is just to get under his skin.  An act to drive him crazy and getting even for him taking the bet.  Can't wait for the remaining chapters.  Edward is in so much trouble now.  It's only going to get worse for him from here on out.
