Oh my!  The wolves and now the Volturi!  I'm glad that Mike wasn't turned -- that wouldn't have been good -- but I wish they could have gotten his body away from the store -- and town -- so that he wouldn't be found until they could set up some kind of accident.  Of course, the Volturi might have come after Edward drank from Bella anyway, but I'd like to think they wouldn't have, since her death was explained, and everyone -- except for the wolves -- believed Carlisle's story.

I knew the Cullens would have to leave after Bella drank from Mike, and I knew Edward would have to kill Sam to get Bella away as un harmed as possible.  I just hope that leaving will get the wolves off their back, but I have huge doubts.  With Sam being killed, I can't imagine that the rest of the wolves won't follow the Cullens where ever they go.  Even if the Cullens could have managed to convince the wolves that it was a nomad that attacked Bella, I can't see any way that the Pack won't follow them and start a war, because of Sam's death.

With this situation, I can't see any way that the wolves will join with the Cullens to fight the Volturi.  The whole situation has become exponentially worse, and I haven't a clue how you are going to get the Cullens out of this.  But in my heart, I have to believe you will.  And, I'm very eager to see how you do it!  :)

BTW -- While I wish Edward had stayed with Bella, and not gone to his room -- I loved Emmett's talk with Edward about when Emmett came upon his own singer -- twice.  Besides, Bella had to attack and drain someone, or she never would have been able to understand the way Edward felt when he drank from herself -- (that he really couldn't stop) -- and I needed for her to understand, so that she could fully fall in love with him.

Yeah, I couldn't turn Mike. it would have gotten...awkward. there is still time to stage an accident with Mike's body. Don't worry ;)

I was afraid that killing Sam was a big mistake. I wasn't sure how readers would see it. I'm glad none of them seem to have run for the hills :P

Yeah, chances of the wolves joining with the Cullens to fight the volturi seem unlikely. Unless they feel more threatened by the Volturi :O

I am so thrilled you enjoyed the talk between Emmett and Edward. I felt it was important that Edward didn't feel like he was being ganged-up on and that someone understood. And you are more than right about Bella needing to feed in order to know what Edward felt. Let's just hope she can live with herself knowing what she's done.

Wow Bella killed Mike.  That is so weird,  Now Edward has killed Sam.  What in the hell is going to happen now.  Can't wait to find out.

Thanks for another great chapter!  I *love* reading from Edward's POV.  :)  You know, I should feel badly for what happened to Bella, and maybe I'm awful for not hurting for her -- well, at least not much.  But it's Edward I feel badly for.  He so wants to talk to her, and she won't really listen to him.  She asked him if he even tried to stop drinking from her, and if I am remembering correctly, he did try to stop -- he should have told her.  At least, he told her it wasn't something he intended to do.  And, while I am sorry that she didn't have a choice, I'm not sorry Bella is now a vampire.  And she may think she hates Edward, but inside I don't believe she does.  And Edward realizes he cares for her, and he's never cared for anyone other than his family before.  Maybe it's not yet love, but I believe it will be sooner rather than later.  He felt something for Bella when he made love to her, he just didn't know what it was.  And Bella felt something for Edward too, and personally, I believe she still does.  At least, they have an eternity to figure it out, since she is a vampire now.  Of course, I don't want it to take that long, though I imagine it will take a while.

When Bella asked Edward if he felt that way when he made love to her and when he drank from her, I wish he hadn't thought/said "No because you had a pulse".  If he hadn't thought/said that, things *misght have gone a bit better.  Can Bella read Edward's mind?  That would be interesting, but, if she could, she would have heard all his other thoughts, so I guess he said it aloud -- big mistake.  I don't have a clue where she went when she ran, but I want Edward to find her.  I'm sure it's too soon for her to accept an apology from him, but I don't want him to stop trying to make her understand how he feels.

I don't want Edward to leave.  And I want Bella to decide to stay.  I assume she will have to stay with the Cullens while she's a newborn -- she has a lot to learn -- but I want her to want to stay and be a part of the family.  Of course, when all is said and done, I want to see Edward and Bella in love with each other, and happily together forever.  Luckily, forever is no longer an issue.  :)

I just have to say, while I love each and every review becuase they all say something a little different about what the person liked about the chapter, yours are always so indepth and it makes me giddy :D

I'm realy glad you enjoy reading from Edward's POV, because I really enjoy writing from his POV. (and I have another story that will be strictly from his POV in the works, so I hope you'll check it out when I start to post it in the next week or so).

Yes, it would have been nice if Bella would have just listened to him, but unlike BD newborn Bella, this Bella isn't as in control of her newfound vampirism. She's a little bit (not a lot) of a loose canon still. Her emotions are still going to get the better of her.

I also don't blame you for not feeing sorry for Bella being turned, and the truth of the matter is, had Edward not bitten her and engaged in a vampire/human relationship with her, she eventually would have wanted to be changed (however, this edward would have done it without a second thought becuase he's not the Edward from the books and he'd have wanted it as much as she did :P).

It pleases me that you see how deeply connected they are even if they don't quite realize it yet. They will, it's only a matter of time. It will probably take a little time and a few tragedies along the way, but they will find each other.

You are correct, he blurted it out. She did not read his mind. I thought about giving her mind reading...but decided against it. I figured it was tragically funny for Edward to just have a lack of brain filter during Bella's hormonal attack on his body :P

The next chapter is in the queue right now, so hopefully it gets validated for you asap. IDK what you'll think of the direction I took it in...but I hope you'll enjoy it. I'll give you a little teaser: It is the chapter where Bella will begin to understand why Edward did what he did and why he couldn't stop.

What does that mean? I guess you'll have to read on and find out :D
