Great chapter! I think the sexual tension is going to kill us before it does Jacob and Bella :P She just needs to give him a little Rez moonshine and jump his bones; problem solved . . . or here's a thought: communicate with him. Crazy, I know! Imagine, actually telling him how she feels - or Jake telling her how he feels. The two of them need to get their heads out of their asses and we could all be happy :)

I'm falling more and more in love with Leah as well, D. Strong, kick butt, take no crap women are my type of ladies and since her bitterness has faded, I'm really enjoying being around her. I hope good things come her way. We'll have to see what happens. :) I don't know exactly how many Rules of Seduction she has concocted. Haven't read them all myself, but I'll let you know when I do.

The move suuuuucked!! I've still got about 50 to 75 boxes left to unpack and so much crap to do I'll be busy for years! This was so good! Bella's sloppy seduction skills are actually endearing. And at least they're kissing now! I can't wait to read chapter nine.

I think I understand the dynamic b/w Jacob and Bella.  They both want each other (in the non-sexual kind of way and the sexual kind of way) and are trying to "get" each other by giving them what they think they want or should want. Yes? Close? Completely off?

Honestly, I think Bells and Jacob are both dorky here!  Bella is by far the dumb ass of this chapter though. >.<  Although I appreciate her effort... she did need to think it through a bit more!

I understand their actions, but sheesh!  It's so comical to see them dance around each other.  I cannot wait for the 'A-hah' moment between them!

Personally, I wouldn't have sex with anyone I wasn't in love with.  But then again I'm slightly old fashioned in that regard.  Anymore tho, love and sex are very different things and not in context with each other, which is sad.

Anyhow... I'd love to beta a chapter for you!  I'm sure you have plenty of others lining up though.  It would be an honor and a pleasure to help you out though, if you need it!

I wholeheartedly agree with you, T! Bella was the bigger dumb ass! Talking about dancing around each other. Hmmm. Wonder if anyone was windmilling their arms? BAHAHAHAH!

As far as the sex and love thing, complicated issue, isn't it? When I was a single gal, sex w/o love was ok, not great, but if there are no strings on either side and both parties are good with it, what the heck? But I think it would be a really horrible situation if you were wildly in love with someone and you were positive they didn't love you. I mean, I would feel soooo used and cheap if I had deep and profound feelings on my side of the relationship and they just wanted to get off. Ewwww!

What a perfect way to start my weekend! Hooray and thanks. I laughed out loud when I read "dumb as a box of hair". I have used this exact phrase before to describe someone I occasionally have to deal with.

I really love your Jacob. He is sweet and funny and thoughtful but still totally bad-ass and masculine-which I love. His desire to make Bella love him before they have sex is endearing and IMHO perfectly in character with the Jacob that I loved in New Moon (before he was purposely made less likable in Eclipse). Bella is making me laugh. She seems to be going back and forth between bold and shy. I think we have all been there-trying to figure out which approach is going to get us to where we want to be!

I certainly will put you on the guest beta list, sweet pea. Did you really find Jacob less likable in Eclipse? My opinion of Edward went right down the toilet in that book. I found myself screaming at both him and Bella - him for being both controlling and a doormat at the same time. (Now that was an accomplishment.) Meanwhile, she's using and abusing Jake and letting Edward get away with murder while she cooes and goops all over him. BBBBBLLLLLEKKKK!! I couldn't figure out with whom I was more disgusted! The only one I wasn't pissed at was Jake.
