Holy crap on a cracker that was an awesome chapter.
I was wondering when you were going to use the dance lessons! I don't envy the gypsy, teased and then glared at by an angry and jealous Jake with a four year old case of blue-balls.
Paul was great, and I laughed out loud when he got jabbed near the jewels with the needle. Tough titties, right?
I liked the Leah POV- nicely done, and I really like her gruff version of femininity. Felt genuine, especially considering that she is a lone bitch in a sea of dogs.
Nice! Really great story (have I mentioned that I love this story?) and always wait with baited breath for the update!

I just love it. Your story is one of the two I only come back to this site any more. Yopu always brighten my day with the updates.
Poor Bella in that spa and those young werewolves. They should get some spanking and get 'whined' from Jake's milk, lol.
I hope that Jake and Bella will get on together soon for real without any disturbances from the pack.
And Paul and Bella (though i love him), he deserved that needle in the crotch, brilliant. I hope he will stop being such a jerk one day.
The dance was just perfect and i would really wanna see that dress. Brownie point for Bella for that. I love it and I will be looking forward to any sneak peak in my mail box.
Though I'm not english (as you know) i don't ming trying my skills in betaing. It's all up to you.
And a 'date night' is a great title. Have you seen the film under the same title? Great comedy by the way. I hope that their date will be less eventful than this one from the film.

I'm getting really annoyed at the pack. They can't leave Bella and Jacob alone, they ruin every possibility they have together. They really need to grow up and stop acting like kids. Yeah, I'm frustrated. I could just slap them all! But apart from that, I like the entire thing :)

I think Jake is actually using the pack to keep a little distance from Bella until he gets the words he wants out of her. Anytime he pleases, he can tell all of them to take a hike. OMG, I am SOOO glad that you updated, I've been going into withdrawls. I LOVE this story, and this chapter ROCKED. I loved the sexy dance she did for Jake. I wonder if he would really sit there and watch though, he is SO protective over her. Either way it was great. Bella's antics with Paul are funny, exp. after the dance, but the needle in the crotch had me laughing out loud! I can not wait for the next chapter, PLEASE don't keep us waiting to long :)

Well, my thoughts on Jake watching the dance are that it was clearly something she wanted to do to and needed to do to feel better about herself. She needs to develop the self confidence to stand up to Paul or anybody else that is putting her down and not let Jake fight every battle for her. I think Jake wants to make sure she's not physically hurt and that some guy doesn't take advantage of her, yet he wants her to be a strong, independent woman, so he's really walking a fine line. (Seems like most men do when it comes to dealing with the woman in their lives, doesn't it?) I love the fact that he is jealous and possessive, yet I don't ever want him to be controlling or smothering. Those are the reasons I became so fed up with Edward and moved permanently to the hot, dark, smiling side.
If you'd like to guest beta for me, just let me know and tell me why you'd like to do it. I'll send out Chapter 11 to one of you to work on. Not a whole lot to it. You just need to tell me what you think and point out my goof ups. (Of which there are many!)

I don't think Jake is going to be resisting much longer, lol. I loved that Bella had enough confidence to pull off the dancing, however, I just don't see it happening. I don't think she would dance like that with a complete stranger and I don't think Jake would have allowed it. No matter who she was imagining while doing it. I think Jake would have marched up to her and dragged her out of the restaurant if she were dancing so erotically with a random Gypsy dancer. Over all, loved the chapter, although I could only imagine the horror of having the entire pack staring at me naked in the pool, lol.

Again, another chapter that I loved. Killing time surfing the internet while having insomnia has never been more profitable. I really enjoy Bella's burgeoning confidence! Although she has moments of shyness and insecurity (like most all of us women) she can pull it out when she needs to. The dance was fantastic.
I have to confess, even though Paul is a jerk, I still have a soft spot for him. I keep hoping the kinder, more mature Paul will work his way through. He is just interesting to me for some reason. Can't explain it. Although he was a complete ass in this chapter.
As always (and forever) Jake was sexy and wonderful and sweet and perfect. I keep worrying that I will be disappointed with Eclipse when it comes out. I worry that he will have far, far too many clothes on the whole time. I pray it isn't so. I am so too old for this view, but I can't seem to help it. Oh well. I will be attending the next Team Jacob Anonymous meeting.
I had to laugh when you mentioned that someone suggested that you avoid using the word sybaritic. When reading the story, I thought to myself that I love that word. It immediately gives a reader the correct context for the environment that they find themselves reading about. A perfect word, especially after looking at the picture of the room! Love it!
I was really happy to log on and find this chapter. I always enjoy this story and look forward to updates.

Wow....I am SOOO in love with this story!!! That was all kinds of hot! Paul is a total ass but I loved that you had Bella school him. And it seems as though both Jake and Bella are really making progress. I know part of what makes the story great is the build up but man after that I just want to hear how it happens when both of them are actually touching, not just what they imagine, lol. Totally great update!!!

Oh I was so giddy to see an update tonight and I loved reading every minute of it. I just have one question. It is totally obvious that bella and Jake are attracted to each other. By the way they hug, touch, rub, nip, lick, squeeze, kiss, and eyef**k each other it is so obvious that they are one step closer now the doing the deed as they were after the dance. If Bella wasnt so dang drunk they would have Im sure. But Jake said something before they left (im too lazy to go look it up right now cause Ill lose this review) and it was something to the degree that if she wasnt with him completely by the time they left Italy in what 2 weeks? 10 days? that he was done with it? Was he really serious? Is he still holding to that plan? He told her in this chp that a mama wolf was far from what he wanted to be to her. He let her know his intentions and Bella is on the same dang page this whole time too. So (finally my real question) Why don't they put down their pride and just say what they feel for each other! SAY IT OUTLOUD, dangit!!! Oh the torture! Love it, love it, love it! The longer they hold out the more story we get to read! Yea!!
Oh, and holy crap in a bag your description of Jake while he was getting his picture taken....can was say SWOON?! That was very shamwow worthy my dear if you know what I mean! I might be an older chick but Im definitely not dead yet! Whew! Cant wait til next update. This story gets hotter and better every update!

Okay, here is the section you were wondering about. It is at the end of Chapter 5 when Jake is wondering what the hell is Bella is thinking. He thinks he's going to let things settle down for a few days. Then he says:
Our trip to Milan was coming up in ten days. Then we'd see. I looked at her downcast face and my jaw clenched. Ten more days, baby, that's about all the time you've got, I thought. Ten more days and then the shit is going to hit the fan - hard.
Well, then Bella runs off to Seattle with Leah and Jake can't see or talk to her. So his great plan to get her to admit her feelings for him go in the crapper. When he is around her next, she's crawling all over him at the beach. He's so confused and frustrated, he doesn't know what to do. But don't worry. The last thing he's going to do is walk away from her.
The bottom line is, Steph, he's determined he's not going to have full out sexual intercourse with her until she tells him she's in love with him. Leah's beaten it into Bella she better not tell Jake she's in love with him, so it's pretty much a mess anyway you look at it. ;)

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe you finally posted this. And, then I read it.......AND it was soooooooooooo worth the wait! This chapter was incredible. I've read various portions of the chapter while you were working on it, but I must say the finished product is even better than expected. First of all, that picture of the bath is gorgeous. Too bad stupid Nikki had to walk in on Bella along w/the rest of the pack. That was hilarious! I felt so bad for her. And, I felt even worse when Jacob was looking her over, checking for injuries when she was stark naked in front of the entire pack. God, Jake! What is your problem? Do you want the entire pack seeing all the goods? Loved the modeling. You described Bella & Jacob's clothes and mannerisms so perfectly in that scene. I could totally picture Jake lounging on that leather bench. Mmm mmm! Loved it! The runway show w/Bella sticking Paul with the pin was priceless. But, what was even more amazing was that dance. Now, after that, I don't know how Jake can believe that Bella doesn't want him as badly as he wants her. I truly hope the next chapter is date night. I really want these two to get together. But, your build up is sooooooooooo hot that even if it doesn't happen soon, I know it'll be worth the wait. Anyway, Crazy, this was yet another wonderful chapter. I love whatever you write and I can't wait for more. Keep it up!

Well, the Roman bath scene had so much potential to end in such a disaster, didn't it? I think Jake was only concerned with her health instead of her clothing or lack of it. Men!

Holy crap, that was one hell of a performance from Bella! I loved that Jake understood what she was doing instead of being insanely jealous of her dance partner!
