Darling, I waited for your update on FF. net, but it didn't came. Did you give up posting there?
Anyway, a great chapter. I enjoyed the location (I'm European and I've been to Italy for several times). Location for their date, I'd suggest a cosy, tiny trattoria (They usually don't serve pizza and there are generally no printed menus, the service is casual, wine is sold by the decanter rather than the bottle, prices are low. The food is modest but plentiful mostly following regional and local recipes and in some instances is even served family-style (i.e. at common tables).
I guess that both of them could enjoy it there. Make the location somewhat romantic, like with an enlightened fontaine next to the trattoria and they're sitting outside enjoying the view.
Oh, those wonderful italian nights with that scent and the warmth and the strong espresso and yummy gelati. *sighs happily*

You are so lucky to be able to pop over to Italy for a romantic weekend. I'm going to need some suggestions for Florence as well as Milan. Have you been there? Got any ideas? I like the thought of the tiny trattoria. They are wonderful, aren't they? Of course, there is no such thing as a bad meal in Italy.
What part of Germany are you from? I've only been to Munich, which I loved, but a dear German friend of mine tells me Berlin, where she's from, is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I can't wait to go. I have to say the Autobahn is my favorite highway in the world! I am cursed with a lead foot and it was sooo wonderful to go as fast as I wanted for the first time in my life. My husband about had a heart attack, but I had a blast!

I just come back from a weekend hoolyday and when I found your mail with news of the new chapter I had to read it immediatley.
first of all Leah is great. Bella is really like to have her as a friend.
Second I really, really liked Bella's dance. In reality you would never found a gypsy complex at the Carroccio but who cares? It's fiction and there is the poetic license.
One moe thing for wine at at dinner you are spot on. If you go to a retaurant for dinner in Italy it's common to have wine. If you go out just for pizze than you'll have beer but with normal food, especcially with the tipycal plates of the Carroccio you can only drinkk wine or water, also is perfectly normal for the youger guys to drink. the legal age for buying alchool is 16

The whole scene with the Roman bath/spa would never have happened if you hadn't suggested the fabulous hotel where the pack is staying. Glad you enjoyed the chapter and forgave me for my poetic license for putting dancing gypsies in the Carroccio! Please don't tell them I did that to them! I fell in love with red wine at restaurants exactly like the Carroccio the first time I went to Italy and I've continued the love affair ever since. I love the simplicity of having either water or wine with dinner. It improves the meal significantly, doesn't it? We haven't really figured that out over here yet. Maybe one day. Take care of you. Oh, we are doing so bad with all of our teams in the world cup, aren't we? Well, at least France did worse than all of us! ;p

Nice chapter! I am dying to hear about the action! I have actually stayed at the Hotel Pricinpe di Savoia in Milan for work, and it was really nice. I didn't stay in the room with that bathroom though!

After living around the two of them, sometimes it's hard to remember the female perspective! Honestly, it is easier for me to write Jake than it is Bella. Poor Bella and her attempts to seduce Jake.
It always seems to fail -- like with Nikki walking in on her planned 'spa suprise' for Jake. Yet it was still oddly hilarious and embarassing.
That dance was HOT.
Though I could never imagine the once shy, self conscious Bella doing it, I can totally this imagine this new, confident Bella doing it. I lovelovelove her progress and how she's becoming more of a woman and gaining self confidence.
This chapter just sucked me right in & I couldn't get enough of it.
I realllyyy hope there's an update in the near future.
I first read this on fanfiction net but came across it here to find out it was updated !! I squealed.

seriously, i am enjoying this story, keep the good work. everytime i see it has updated, i skip over all the other stories waiting for me to read thier updates, they take a back seat to this one.
ideas for more lemonescence followed with awkwardness: bella decides to join jake in the shower, and another pack member comes in to use the toilet/shave/ask jake for advice, not realizing that he's not alone. this could also work with a partitioned dressing room.
or....
bella and jake could engage in an attempt at phone sex and someone else picks up on the line....
just a thought, incase you were running out of ideas for teasing the hell out of the rest of us :)

I am SOOOO thrilled that I found this fic again. I had been following it on FanFic but somehow noticed in another fic that the author had mentioned that you had updated on this site. So I joined PRONTO so I could read the update. The story is great ... I really loved the ending with the 'one up' to Paul. Not sure why you mentioned reworking some of the previous chapters ... I haven't read anything I didn't think was great. But ... I'm not an author by any means. Will you keep posting on FanFic or is this your new site ... don't want to miss any of your work!!

Author's Response: Hey Laurie! You are so sweet to follow me over here! I am still on FanFic, but since I hate it, I always post here first. Fanfic frustrates the hell out of me. :p I will continue to post on both. I'm rolling around the idea of writing a Leah story, but so far, this is the only one I'm writing. It's keeping me very busy and I don't want to leave it and get distracted by something else.
I've reread most of the story recently and I'm not too happy with Chapters 1, 2, or 8. They just need more work, but I've worked so much on them already, it's hard to get a fresh perspective. New chapter on the way soon. :)

Glad that I took the day off and could read your latest chapter leisurely while I drank my morning tea. Love your story and would rate that dance scene as volcanic as Mt. Vesuvius in steaminess! Laughed so hard as Bella got even, not once, but twice in glorious form with Paul. The whole idea of the pack as models is so appealing and unique. Leah as a mentor and friend to Bella is so much better than as her usual portrail as the angry bitch. Your writing makes my day; keep up the outstanding work.

She's such a great girl and too smart and strong to ruin her life because she was dumped by some guy. I just never believed she wouldn't move on. I fell in love with this story on FF.net and was sad to see it go. but very stoked that i fround it and this cite. i love this story and the fact that its a push pull relationship with Jacob & Bella. i like that her and Leah are not just friends but sisterly with each other. can wait to see what happen next.
Author's Response: Hey Mesia! Did my story go on FF? It's still there last time I looked. I always post to Twilighted first because FF pisses me off. I am a techno turd and fanfic always screws me up.
I think Leah needed a girlfriend as badly as Bella did at this point in their lives. My thought was that Bella actually helped Leah get over Sam by just being there and going through a similar heartbreak right after Leah did.
